Hi Shano,
You say the red light comes on indicating that the PCC itself needs to be charged, but you do not specify if the red light ever goes out? If the red light never goes out and the PCC does not charge, then it is defective and needs to be replaced.
If the PCC is capable of charging, but the 510
batteries do not charge in it, then the contact needs to be cleaned.
e-liquid has a tendency to build up down in the hole where the battery goes. Take some rubbing alcohol and a q-tip and place it all the way down the battery hole in the PCC and clean the bottom of the hole so that there is proper contact when the battery is placed in the PCC for charging.
The only other issue that has been reported is the top of the PCC not fully pushing down the battery to make contact and charge. The use of some tape and a filler such as a thin piece of cardboard does the trick.
Hope that helps,
Sun
