Thorough review, very well done.

Has anyone used this case for charging a 306 battery? (It would probably require some sort of spacer attached to the lid to accommodate the spring.)

I just received my PCC from InnoVapor yesterday and it came with a piece of felt stuck inside the lid. I assume it is for the purpose you stated but, unfortunately, whoever was assembling/modding this thing stuck the felt on the front, inside portion of the lid so that it is actually pressing on the side of the battery when the lid is closed (rendering it pointless). I attempted to move it where it should be and the felt just tore from the adhesive leaving behind a sticky mess. I just pressed it back where it was and will leave it be for now. I'm using 510 batteries so the spacer isn't necessary but could see where you'd need it for the 306.

I have been charging the case and a batt at the same for about a week now, seems to work ok, I have not noticed it taking any longer if that helps?
I just got mine, but that seem to work fine. Added bonus : The chargers for cell phone works with it.

Contact InnoVapor and let them know what happened. They'll exchange it for one that works right.

Maybe someone here might have some insight:

Once the battery is done charging, it should be removed from the charger....Has anyone devised a trick to be able to keep the battery in there, but not have it continue to charge? So it can be used as more of a carrying case? I wish there was a switch that activates the charger.

I'd read on another thread where everyone was agreeing that you could flip the battery upside down to keep it in the PCC without draining it. But it certainly doesn't work with my 510 batteries--doesn't allow me to close the lid. Maybe they were talking about a shorter 306 battery.

I got a PCC from East Mall and have been using it for about 2 weeks.
I've noticed that it is taking a LONG TIME for this thing to charge up - Like maybe 5-6 hours.

This seems like a very long time to me. Is this normal? How long does it take for "your" PCC to recharge.

Usually, I don't wait for the light to come on telling me that it "needs charging." I usuallly just plug it in when I get home from work to recharge it from the day's use. But lately, it seems that 5 hours later when I'm about to go to bed....it's still got the red light on like it is charging.

I can't remember if it was taking this long when I first got it.

What do you think ???

If you are using a manual battery there is no need to worry about the battery being drained.

It shouldn't take that long to charge the PCC. I can charge mine up while charging a battery and it doesn't take that long. But, I've never drained the PCC completely.

Actually, I'd go ahead and flip the battery once it's charged. The PCC, just like a wall charger, goes ahead and continues to send current through the battery, even after it reaches peak charge. The result is that the PCC will drain its internal battery over time if you leave a fully charged 510 battery in the slot. Flip it over once the light goes out and you're good to go.

All the pcc will do is sense when the battery voltage drops below 4.0v and top it up again, which eventually would drain battery off pcc but would take a long time! Leaving it in will ensure you got a full charged battery whenever you need it! If you think about it, it will charge a good 4 batteries from dead. So there plenty of juice to just keep topping a charged battery up :)

This is a FANTASTIC device. I love it.

I would love it more if it had a couple more "holes" in it.

My "dream PCC" would have 2 additional "holes."
Each hole would be deep enough to hold a battery waiting to be charged ... or ... an extra atomizer with a cart on it.

I don't think it's necessary to have another "Charging hole."

But, if you had an extra hole long enough to hold a second battery, you could constantly be rotating 3 batteries ... and it would serve as a better carrying case also.

I don't believe this would make the case much wider than it already is... and certainly not wider than a normal pack of cigarettes.

Can somebody pass this request on to the designers/makers of this device.

THanks
