Since 7/19/12 I have not smoked a cigarette, but have been vaping with a Joye 510-T. I have several Misty Mountain vapor liquids, all 18mg (blueberry, menthol, regular) and have been mixing them with 0mg to lessen the strength. My family thinks I'm puffing this thing too much, though they are very happy I'm not smoking anymore. How would I discover if I'm vaping too much/too little/about right?

Thanks so much,
Kelly

Welcome kelly-- the 510 is one of my favorites- a bottle of smoke juice 15ml usually last over a carton of real cigs- so if you get little bottle that are 3 ml-- if you use about 1/2 that juice that would be equal to a pack over 10 days. you can figure it out depending how much you smoke-- i have a lot of tips and tricks on the 510 - go to my youtube channel "thesmokenjoey" or my website--- good luck

If you're not getting nicotine od ( headache) and you're not smoking analogs you're doing fine. For the first 1-2 months expect to be vaping heavy. We all went that route.

Not to flame your family but non smokers have no idea of how tough it is to quit smoking. Vaping is a very personal program and no Doctor or Pharmaceutical company can tell you how much to vape or how often. Key is to be happy, healthy and stress free when quitting. Realize also nicotine delivery via vaping is a very poor delivery system compared to smoking.
Just the fact that you have quit smoking for over 1 month is proof you're doing it right.
Congrats and Happy Vaping

Hi! I'm new, too...just over three weeks vaping. I think I know if I'm vaping too much because I get a little like I've had too much coffee. Just a little anxious. Too much nicotine. I'm learning that nobody really knows how much nicotine we're getting vaping vs. analogues, so I just do trial and error.

The first few days I was vaping until I was dizzy; just used to sucking on an analogue all the time, whereas with vaping I notice I WANT to have the thing in my mouth often, but my body doesn't NEED the nic as often. Just my experience.

Whatever is keeping you away from the analogues is good for you; I agree with Seawolfe.

Congratulations!!!!

oops-- I mistyped-- if your a pack a day smoker you would use 1.5ml a day in juice-- somewhere in there anyways-- if you are a 2 pack a day you would use 3ml of juice-- thanks

There is no formula... Vape as much as you want (don't die or anything ;0 ). But understand its not nic in mg it's nic/time. People get all caught up in the mg... 20 hits of 18mg>>>>>>>>2 hits of 36 in 30min. Just be happy and get off smoking then asess your goals--if it's to get off all nic then vape to that end later on... But remember it's nic/tim... So if you want to vape 24/7 and finally quit then slowly lower your juice nic and keep the same vaping habits. People tend to vape a ton and drop Mgs and make up for it by vaping more.

It's your goal and your vaping habit--just make it work out the way YOU want it to down the road. The more fun and hassle/worry free it is in the beginning, the easier it is to get off cigarettes. Enjoy it--drink that coffee/vape at the bar...Make it work out the way you want 6 months from now.
