I've heard reviews stating that these are far superior to the Ego-t system and since they're only $8.99, it's worth giving them a shot. Every other site that I have found these on charges that much for just the atomizer! I do understand your apprehension. I can't tell you how many disappointments I've had trying new vaping gear.

I have been using an ego-t since January without any really noteworthy problems. It works for what I use it for, but it has never been my only PV. --- The eGo-t produces cool vapor and mutes many flavors. I still like it for mint juices and some other really sweet or strong flavors. I never experienced any serious leaking problems or dry hit problems that other people did.

OK - that said: The 510-t is a completely different animal. It produces warm, flavorful vapor. It's very close to dripping without the occasional dry hit when you forget to add a couple of drops. I used the 510-t for about 10 days and I liked it quite a bit. I had no leaks, no flavor problems, and no dry hits except when the tank ran dry and I didn't notice. The capacity of each tank is only about half a ml, so it just wasn't an appropriate system for me. I vape anywhere from 6 to 10 ml a day, so swapping tanks so often was not what I wanted to do. I traded it for something else, but not because there was anything wrong with it... just the capacity of the tanks.

Very good information.

Is the Ego-T similar to the 510 Totally Wicked "Tornado Tank"? thx

It is identical minus the fancy paint job and the devil on the attys. I do mean identical. It is the exact same thing made in the exact same factory by the exact same people.

The 510-t is not an eGo-t however.

Thanks Six! Soooo, is the "510-t" considered to be better? In terms of performance, etc.?

Better is subjective. As I mentioned before, I use an eGo-t and it is perfect for what I use it for. I like it for very strong or very sweet flavors and mints. I've never had problems with leaks or wicking issues.

But, the 510-t is very good too. It can handle a much wider variety of flavors and it delivers much warmer vapor. The only drawback I can name is the capacity of the tanks. That system, though it works very well, was not a good fit for me. I vape 6 to 10 ml a day and the half ml capacity of the 510-t was not appropriate for how I vape.

And +1 for what Sjkader said. If you decide you want to drip instead of use the 510-t tanks, you can pull the needleplate which exposes the coil and you can drip.
