OK so I am still very new to vaping. I started 2 days ago with my Magma from volcano which is a 510. I was a pack and a half a day smoke and using my 510 I have not touched an analog in over 48 hours. I mentioned to my wife that while it is working I think down the road I would like to get a 5V because the vapor and TH on my 510 is still not quite enough for me. To my suprise she said that she is so happy that I have not smoked in two days, she doesn't care what I buy as long as I keep it up. Sooooo, have the green light for a 5V :) Any suggestions? I really like the Joker but is it's cost worth it?

I would highly suggest you check out the BUZZ at notcigs.com
It is variable voltage mod that is super well made. I have one and love it..

Jokers are reported to have had problems.

Check out GLV greatlakesvapor.com

Littlesister. Variable voltage mod.. boxmods.net

These are the best. IMO and I have had almost all of them.

Also the sabre touch mod 5v too is nice.

I have a Joker, a GLV, and a 5V box mod. I would recommend the GLV. The Joker has had issues and it hits a little harsher than the GLV. The GLV draw is perfect and now comes in lots of cool colors. Or if you wanna try out 5V on the cheap you can get a box mod from indyvaporshop for $35 (not including batteries & charger).

I felt the same way, 3.7 just wasn't doing it for me and 5V is perfect, 6V is too much.

Or you could get a variable voltage mod. Actually the Joker AV is variable voltage, but I don't have that, so I couldn't tell you how it performs. There's the Buzz, Fistpack, & Little Sister.

I can recommend the Saber Touch, although it is bulky to carry around. The Little Sister variable volt has gotten some great reviews, and you can dial your voltage in to exactly where you like it. But for me, the best 5v I have used is the Tekk mod. It's a little pricy, but it just works, well, and you can charge your phone/iPod/passthrough with it, all while using it. And the GLV has some great reviews too, although I haven't used one.

In order (if I was starting over with mods):
1-Little Sister
2-Tekk mod
3-GLV2
4-Saber Touch

But, really, all are good, I love my Saber, and you can't go wrong with any of them.

I'd get a box mod first to see if 5v is truely your thing. I've had a lot of them and the best I've found are here: Box Mods You will also need 14500 protected batteries and a charger. You can get those where you get the box or at a battery vendor like www.batteryjunction.com

Have fun and good luck on finding what you like.
