6v usb rechargable nicostick?

Is is possible to do this, I would like to build one from 2 cr123a's with a mini usb plug to recharge both batteries without fires or explosions. there are plent of the single battery usb rechargeable nicstix. why hasnt anyone done the 6 volt? what are the obsticles? Any of you guys like cybervex, or caesar want to chime in? Or any of you other guys that know anything about it.

You require 0.5v greater than the batteries being charged (destination voltage) to do this so its not possible to do it with a USB.

One solution would be to have a slide switch to set a 'charge mode' that would change the wiring internally to toggle from series to parallel. It's not particularly difficult so I'm not sure why it hasn't been done. The only downside would be that you could not vape at higher voltage while charging.

Would you be able to run it at 5 volts while charging when if the switch was in the charge parallel position?
Configuring that switch to go from series to parallel sound tricky It looks like spaghetti in my mind. Any diagrams on doing that?
