Hi folks,

As the adventure continues, life is good. Analog free since July 8. Searching for that all day flavor. The house looks and smells better with my wife, neketa, and myself not stinking it up anymore. I feel better. My nose is starting to work again after alot of yrs off:blink:

So the question. I find when I am trying to vape in the car with all the windows open doing 70 mph or so I do not feel it works as well as no air flow. It might just be my impression of how it feels, or looks, lack of vaper. I was curious if other people find the same thing. I know one of you will throw out that obvious solution, roll the windows up:glare: But its summer time, the more the windows are down, the happier I am.

Just one of those things,
Take care.

Yes the car has A/C. It blows nice and cold, and there are days where its just unbearable and it gets used. But I do drive with the windows down alot. That and when I am out on the boat going 20-30 mph I have the same problem, no a/c on the boat:?:

Clover, the liking my wifes name. I should have been more specific. Her screen name, Neketa318, and member of forum. Its been a great time doing the e cig thing together:2cool:

Hey Photo,

I see we got a new member, and I just wanted to say welcome to the family, and congrats on being cig free man!!!

As for your issue, I feel the same way, cause I can't see the vapor, I used to use snuff and dip, and it did great when I was in the hospital for a collapsed lung, and then seeing everyone smoke, I needed a cig, BUT ANYWAY, back to your issue. The same thing goes for me, that is happening to you man, when the windows are down OR the A/C is blasting, I feel it does nothing for me. (But I will tell you, smilin menthol+AC= freezing your .... off)

I agree with everyone , I'm in the lawn business , I'll be honest I cut grass for a living, hey it's Florida what else do you do down here anyway when I'm on my mower and cant see the smoke it doesn't fell like I'm getting anything so i sometimes stop and take a few drags where I can see the smoke and then I feel so much better.

Yep me too! i didn't think seeing the vapor was such a big deal but if I have the AC blasting ( tired of bees and wasps and flies in my car when i rolled down the windows) and can't see the vapor, it makes me feel like I didn't get a good *hit*. Same in the breakroom at work, unless I'm alone or with good friends, I don't let out clouds even tho I want to. ;)

Mythbusters tested the AC v open windows fuel consumption thing. Can't remember the result though

Early on in my vaping, I did need to see the vapour. Funny that when I smoked I didn't consider the smoke as important. Once I got hooked on flavour, seeing the vapour lost its importance for me.

I have noticed that when it's humid, there is a lot more vapour and it hangs in the air longer and sinks rather than going upwards like cigarette smoke. In the car, with windows open or AC going, it probably wouldn't be humid, so maybe that's another factor.

If you don't already have one, consider getting a passthrough & car adapter that can plug into your lighter socket. The higher voltage might give you greater hit & flavour, and that might help.

I seen the one with the tailgate down VS talegate up.

Back on topic: I love being able to have the windows up and no ashing and no smoke everywhere. I ride with the wife and she can't even tell I am vaping.

I instinctively roll the windows down sometimes....

No hanging your hand out the window and dropping it either.
