I'm saving up for a mod and have a couple questions regard the dif between the 801, 901, and 510 carts and attys. The current business climate has left me a bit strapped, so I cannot afford to experiment much at this point. I'm happy vapor wise with 3.7 volts, so will not be putting out for a high voltage mod. I vape a lot and battery life is really important. I use PTs as much as I can, but often I'm doing things where I can't use a PT.

For those of you more experienced, I'd like to ask: with these 3, which has the largest fluid capacity and which attys hold up the best at normal voltage? I'm most likely considering either a JS or VP2 unless someone can show me another mid price-range mod that may suit my purpose.

I am waiting for a protege to come out. For me it is a toss up there is days I love the 801 and there is days I love my 510. For dripping and fluid capacity the 801 for sure. As for Attys thats luck of the draw I believe. Ive had both kinds die in a week and I still have both kinds that have gone strong for a couple months. I think a lot has to do with how you take care of them.

Hi all, Ive only been vaping for a few weeks and actually enjoy it alot. I use to smoke 2 packs a day and now Im down to about 5-8 analogs a day.

I bought the 510 from innovapor and really love the hit it gives, I also tried the evo but it just didnt give the hit that the 510 does so I sent it back.

My problem is that the carts dont last long at all, Im using the straw mod and polyfill to stuff my carts with JC Tennessee juice. I have read that the true 901 carts are better for the 510 so if someone could tell me where to get them that will be great.

I bought the PT but I just couldnt believe what I just found out, a fully charged 510 manual battery out performs the PT. If im wrong please tell me but thats how it seems to me. I want a strong hit everytime I use it so if anyone has any ideas or suggestions for me please speak up..

I came across the silver bullet the other day and seems like thats the best on the market now so I just may try that out when they come back on sale..

You and I are on a nearly identical time frame as far as quitting analogs but I went to a mod after struggling with a super-mini the first week. First it was an 801, then a JS a week later. (I bought the 801 because I knew the wait for a JS would be a couple of weeks)

I use the JS everyday. It is a good product but it is high maintenance. You've read about the switch problems and the occasional leaks, I'm sure. I've experienced both. They are minor glitches and one learns quickly how to prevent it from happening for the most part. BUT, I never leave the house without back-ups for the JS. I carry an 801 w/ 2 batts and a 510 w/ a PCC and also 2 batts. It's overkill, I know, but there are days when I work 12-14 hours. The battery in the JS can last a FULL day for me -- that's about 1.5 mls of liquid. That aspect (battery life) is extremely important to me.

However, Litecig is coming out with a mod (the Vapre 51) that sounds like an improved JS. It uses the same battery, same atty, may incorporate a built-in pass thru and is NOT plastic. The Vapre 51 will also have a controllable draw where the VP1 and VP2 won't.

Your mileage may vary... but I'm waiting out this one for the Vapre. =)

So it looks like the 801 has the highest capacity of the 3 carts and from what I've read elsewhere it seems it's one of the sturdiest attys available??

The Janty Stick is almost a perfect match for you, imo. I was in the same boat - not looking for what the higher voltage gives you, cheap batts, more cart capacity, trouble free, manual, button in the right spot. Jim's suggestion of a Nicostick is a good one if you're handy - It can be a JS without the name with a 801 atomizer.

I also like that the charge cord acts as a PT, the case if very usable, and I like the way you can conceal it in your palm. It was smaller than I expected and I like that about it. It's a cooler vape than the 510 but I don't have 'flavor problems' with the 510 so they're about the same for me on that account. I'm glad there's instructions on how to make one. If I could only have one, it would be a Janty Stick.

I'd personally go for the VP2 then. The JS is great and has its place, but the VP2 will definitely offer better battery life. No question.

With the VP2, the 801 is now the 'standard' model, which I'd recommend anyway. Of course, if you ever change your mind, you can always buy an adapter from Vaprlife to use it with a 501 or a 901 atomizer instead. The options are endless.

Enjoy.
