On a 10 hour drive this past weekend, I picked up my first penstyle (excluding KB which I'm not crazy about). I got an Njoy. Yes, I knew the possible troubles, but I really couldn't resist. Anyways, it worked GREAT. I LOVED it and this was my new favorite. I've been vaping it constantly.

But, tonight I might have killed it or flooded it. That's not my question, though-- it's currently drying.

I have all these extra 801 atomizers. I have several 2 or no-hole ones (no holes I can see) from my SD and the KB. The Njoy also has no visible holes. All of these work really well on my 801 njoy, my minipipe, my kb, and the SD.

All the four hole atomizers I have don't work on anything at all. I got one working on my minipipe after breaking off the silver band's lip and breaking it in by puffing extra hard for a while but even that one doesn't work on the 801 njoy battery.

None of the 4 hole atomizers work on my usb passthrough, either. The two hole ones (or no visible holes) work on everything.

What is going on? What are these 4 hole atomizers good for, really? What batteries do they work on? How can I make them work on my njoy batteries and other batteries I'll be getting in the mail soon? I also have a big order of 4 hole atomizers coming since I ordered them before I realized that I have trouble with them.

Please help. Thanks.

I just saw this post. So, my new question (unless anyone has a different answer than sun vaporer's) is, has anyone drilled 2 holes down the sides of those 4 hole atomizers? Is there anything that can be done to that atomizer to make it work? I have a huge order coming and I am really now upset about this, cause I don't know how I'll even be able to use them.

Thank you!

I kinda had the same trouble if I am understanding you right. I have some no hole 4072s which are actually a little longer and different from my newer four hole 801s. The cart cores for my 801 are shorter than the ones for my 4072s and the cores are not interchangeable. make sure your attys are heating up, getting warm, try dripping, but be very careful, the four holers seem to flood the batteries very easily and will kill you batts. If they work this way, then compare the lengths of the cart cores. The batteries all seem to be interchangeable though. My 4072 batteries, but they work with both of my 801 four hole and 4072 no hole attys.
I also found that the 4 hole attys draw was so easy that I was getting too much air and was dilluting my vapor. This got better as I used them for a few days and I guess, gunked them up a bit.

I am not sure I understand and I'm not sure it's the same issue. My batteries are fine. Every type of device I have that works with an 801 atomizer only works with the two hole ones. This includes my regular batteries, my minipipe, my Kissbox, my usb passthrough and my SD.

None of them work with my 4 hole atomizers.

I probably wasn't very clear before. I have 40 four-hole atomizers coming and I'd like them to work with my stuff. How can I do this? Even the 4 hole atomizer that I clipped off the lip on the silver band and got to finally work with my minipipe will NOT work with my 801 njoy batteries.

Thanks.

I agree Sun,
It is late and maybe I didn't understand her post correctly. But mine are all interchangeable. MY 4 hole 801 attys actually work better with my 4072 batts.
My batts that came with my new 4 hole 801s are too finicky and shut off after only a couple of seconds. Plus they are too sensitive and I don't trust putting it in my pocket assembled. Just a loud noise or a bump will turn them on.
However, I am not a fan of the 4072 attys either.

Kendra--I just took a brand new NJOY battery and used it on a Brand New RN4072 and it fired up nicely---what I was refering to in the other thread went to quality and not compatibility--So you should be fine with your order but as I said, I am not a fan of the RN4072 for the reasons I stated in my PM to you----Sun
You're really helpful; thanks.

But, I have a few 4072 atomizers now and they are definitely not working on my batteries or the other things, either. And, I am pretty sure they "work" because I can get a small amount of vapor out of one of them and I got one to work on my minipipe (which I can actually use) and it still doesn't work on my njoy batteries. That's the one you once suggested to caulk and that's the one I finally clipped the band's lip off. Before I clipped the band part, it didn't work on anythign I have, but now it works on the minipipe only.

I have 5 4072 atomizers and they are all new, so I think they must work-- or at least a couple of them must work. My battery lights up, too. I just can't get any vapor from them with any of the things I mentioned.

Kendra,

The issue lies with the length of the threads---you might have to swap out battteries for those new atomizers if that is the case--I had no issue with BEST compabablility with their BE112 atomizers and the batteries----if they do not work--send them back or cancel the order if you can catch it in time--China is 12 hours ahead of us so they are open now----Sun

I just noticed you also said Last reports were 50/50. Does that mean half the atomizers worked for you and half didn't?

Isn't there anything I can do with the threads? You know, that's the thing-- they screw in there fine and they are making contact with the positive part of the battery, so I really don't understand why I can't get any vapor at all. And I'm also wondering why, if I got one to work on the pipe, it can't also work on the other things?

Well, thanks for your help, both of you.

Kendra--Heaven Gifts reports the hit or miss compatablilty issue and he is right--no doubt about it with these RN4072's--I have many that will not work on my passthoughs but will work on the batteries. As for tring to make the contact work--it is a no go--very limited sucess. I have pulled the center positive contact peg up and it worked a couple of times and I used foil in the hole a few times and that worked--other then that--not much luck!!!! I think you will be ok with your order--Let me know how it goes--Sun

Okay, this is interesting-- what do I do with foil? What hole are we talking about now?

Well, I already sent a note to them, but she's already provided me with a tracking number, so I'm not sure if it's too late or not.

I just don't really understand why they work for you and nicfits but not for me! I mean, if they worked on even one of those things I'd feel better. :)
Also, I wasn't clear here-- I think I was talking about something different entirely. I haven't placed an order with bestcig yet ever. I'm re-reading what you wrote but I didn't answer correctly. I was still referring to my centraltrade order that got mixed up and delayed. So, I think I must have thought you were suggesting I cancel from there because that's what I was responding to.

Hey Kendra - I trying to make sense of this all and am digesting a lot of info. I have a similar problem. The 801 kit I bought came with a 4 hole atomizer and the "no hole" atomizers I just got aren't working with the batteries I currently have. There is no contact.
I tried the foil trick and fried one of the 801 batteries so DO NOT try that. The LED quit working and as soon as I screw it into the atomizer I have (4 hole) it starts to vaporize without even needing to drag...it's stuck on.

The no hole atomizers I just got are stamped with SLB but the batteries I got with the 801 kit aren't. The 4 hole kit atomizers I have aren't stamped with anything.
I may just contact RD and see about getting compatible batteries...I don't know. Maybe the atomizers I have will work for you, and yours might work for me. Maybe a trade down the road might help? I'm not sure what to think right now.

if you're interested, here's yet another thread that may help.

seems alot of folks are having issues w/801's as of late. i ordered 3 extra
atto's from HK, all 3 have the same part number(20080311) as my original.

all 3 extras do work but need to be really heated up in order to perform well.
my original is a 4 hole. the newer ones have no visible holes. the newer no
hole style don't absorb carts well either. my original 4 hole will suck a cart
completely dry.

there are just so many inconsistencies now. i've ordered a passthrough
hoping a continuous high voltage will help cure the problem.
