Hi Drew. I was just wondering if you're working on a fix for the air flow on the 801 adaptor. BTW, I love my Xhaler!!!!
I love my exhaler also,I was sent a small atomizer and a big atomizer, with my exhaler, and the big one does not work,or vape,on the exhaler. Is that what you are talking about Sky? Cause I haven't figured out why the big atomizer does not work, and I would like to know.

I had a problem with the big atomizer(801) not working on arrival. You may want to give Drew a holler. Mine had a problem with the spring under the batteries. It was too short.

I found that unscrewing (the 801 that came with it) the atomizer just a little, maybe an eighth of a turn, improved the draw. There is a thread on here about filing a groove in the base of the atomizer and another thread says to remove the sheet metal ring at the base of the atomizer. The 302 and Janty classic seem to work fine without any adjustment.

Yes ladybug, the big one is an 801. :)

Just file two holes into the bottom of the 801 atomizer. It makes a world of difference, although I am still not a huge fan of the 801. The vapor isn't as warm, but the flavor is there without a doubt. It just adds too much length for the performance in my opinion. Lately I've been using my 901, that I'm enjoying as it gloss black xhaler without adding much to the overall length.

    Somewhere between here and there
I posted it somewhere on another thread but I just took a 1/8" round file and filed two half round notches in the bottom of the atty and now am able to tighten it all the way down and get good airflow. I have been using an 801 on and off for a couple months along with 510's and 901's and I agree with Trox, The 801 seems to wash out the flavor although it does not get hot as quick as the others at HV. I did try the 801 with two 3.6v batts and the vapor is warm then.

Hey Synth!! You are using BE112's with that adapter?? No short problems??

My BE112's I think shorted the Xhalers out. I had to send 2 back to Drew and it seems that those attys were a problem. I did order the adapters BEFORE Drew mentioned the BE112 are a problem. Now I have the adapters and afraid to use them when the Xhalers get back to me.

    Following this thread :D

Yes - I'm using my BE112's on the Xhaler via the 901 -> 801 adapter I ordered from Altsmoke. I do have to use the staple mod to make the connection, but they are performing perfectly. The short was being introduced by the way the BE112 seated on the 'stock' Xhaler 801 tip, so I navigated around the issue via the adapter.

    Hope this helps!

I was going to order one but since the BE112 cant be used on it, It's a no go for me. I want to be able to use BE112s on aything using HV.

...again, I am using the BE112's with the Altsmoke 901 -> 801 adapter, and it works perfectly. This circumvents the shorting problem people were experiencing trying to use the BE112 with the 'stock' 801 tip on the Xhaler.

In short, order the 901 -> 801 adapter from Altsmoke, slap it on your Xhaler's 901 tip, insert a staple mod into the BE112, and you will be good to go. ;-)

Hey Doots! I am pretty darn positive that the BE112 thing was an unexpected glitch. New product and all. It seems Synth has found a way to get them working. I suspect Drew has looked at it too. I wouldn't give up just yet. The adaptability of the Xhaler is really wonderful allowing the voltage and atty experimenting with the one device. I look forward to trying the combos out myself :D
