It seems that over a month period of time, that my center pieces on the batteries are gettin pushed down and causing me to lose contact with the carto..How can i prevent this, Why is it happening, and how can i fix it??
use a safety pin to nudge it up thru the air holes (the little ones on the side) this will fix it for the time, but you probably want to look for a new battery. One of my nice v4l shorty batteries did this, and though I kept it working for a minute, eventually it died completely. So far, the most durable kr808 battery I have found is a manual 510 with an adapter on it.
The battery post gets pressed in when you tighten the battery on a screw-in charger too tightly. To charge an 808, you just need to tighten enough for the light to blink. It can be a bit loose and still charge fine. Try it.
Thanks Charlie, that was a great vid.link. Ive added it to my "How Toos" folder for future ref. SnowDragon did an outstanding job. These types of "how too" vids really help out noobies, like me. A vid is worth a thousand words. Cheers
