Hi all, fairly new to vaping. I got into it via gas station cigs and ended up with several 808 type batteries.

I'm gettig toward the end of my supply of cartomizers (pre-filled) and would like to just buy blanks so I get a better idea of the tastes without clashing flavors. (I bought a good varity of e-liquids to test).

I've spent a couple hours here looking for a good vendor, but I've run into a couple problems. Either a vendor with good reviews are out of stock, Madvapes for example. Or the vendor has some pretty sketchy reviews here. So the (long winded) question is where is a good place to buy 808-D empties?

Secondly, clearomizers. Are they a good option? They are in stock more often...

Sorry for the length here...confused newbie.

Hi -
I've found smokeless image to be by far the best 808-D supplier I've tried, both for batteries and blank cartridges. They tend to ship very quickly too. I'd highly recommend you try one of their sealed automatic batteries too - i've tried a lot of different ones (V2, V4l, and several others) and these are far and away the best (and most attractive!)

I haven't tried clearomizers though - interested to hear what others have to say!

Thanks, that brings up another issue I've had. Smokeless Image for example doesn't explicitly say they are for the 808 type. I've found that to be true on a couple other sites as well. It's certainly possible that I'm missing something basic about catomizers...

I too would be interested in general clearomizer opinions.

Smokeless Image, Elite Vaporworks, Bloog, Halo, V4l,

The first three (and maybe the fourth) have horizontal coil cartomizers which is an improvement to the horizontal style in function and vapor/flavor production. If you want to keep searching, look for kr808 horizontal coil cartomizers. But if you like different colors other than black, white or stainless best to stick with one of those four.

Goodprophets is cheap and a trusted vendor. A lot of times you will find them cheaper than you can find them at the "specialty" shops. It's the same quality as the other ones selling horizontal coils. But again, if you want something more colorful, the specialty vendors are the only place to get them.

Smokeless Image has awesome customer service so you may be more comfortable with that.
