Ms. Crbrown haven't gotten a chance to try the nhaler and elite vapor works ones yet, will have to look into that. Thank you. :)

Just an fyi if you look up on the ecig wiki link here on ecf they even make note of the two different versions of the kr808, which is how the gen 1 and gen 2 monikers really got their start. They are very different in some ways, same in others. From cut off times (gen 1 is 8 seconds on really old school batts, 13 on most, and 20 on the latest renditions, gen 2 5-7 seconds), voltage output, mah, etc, but they do share the same size specs and connection. Think of it as two car companies from the same country in the same class. They're both cars technically, both use gas and combustion to run, but some will say this car is better and why and vice versa. The whole point is still not which is better, because it's all opinion based, but which one is best for the individual. :)

Exactly, I even find that some of my juices will preform better on one then the other, I keep both handy just for this reason.

Edit: It's the batteries on the other two where I notice the most difference.

Btw hollyberry the v2cig batts are 4.2v and though I can't get the company to tell me if they are regulated or not I used one about 6 months ago and they work very well. They are about $12-$15 more then other brands though so unless you don't mind paying $30 per batt, I would suggest looking around for a less expensive batt. Their v2 Red flavor cartos are a big hit with many people though. I actually started vaping with Reds but the flavor vanished after a couple weeks of vaping. Still can't taste any flavor from them lol.

Do let us know how you like your new PV

Thanks, prometheus, will do.

I got my batts from the classies, btw. :)

Ok so I got the official word from v4L about their batts for anyone that was confused about whether they are regulated or not. This should answer some questions

"Our batteries I do not believe are regulated. When fully charged they are 4.7 volts and as they die out they come down do 3.7"

or create more questions such as how can they not be sure lol. So there you go. Even the vendor has no idea ;) but yeah my bet would be no...

rawrscary, with all due respect.... Morandir has tried several time to explain the difference between the two, but you keep shutting him down.
I think if you'll do some searching you'll find that Bloog had exclusive rights to this "new" technology from the manufacturer for just a few moths. The deal was if they could meet company's sells requirement then they would maintain the exclusive rights. They were unable to do this, so along came SI, Halo and others.
Of the ones that I have tried, I would say that Halo, SI and Bloog come from the same place. Nhaler and Elite Vaporworks I think might come from a different manufacturer, they say they don't but they really don't preform the same.

V4L is not the same type of 808, they use the vertical coils, and those really do work best with unregulated batteries.

I'm fully aware of the difference between Bloog/SI/etc.. and stuff like v4l. That was not my issue with morandir. That being said, I am also not going to discuss my issue with him further. It's been dealt with, so drop it.

I'm just wanting to figure out the differences between the various vendors at this point. I personally think Bloog has the best design in their batteries, and since there are several other vendors that have the "same" battery, yet it doesn't perform as well, that is why I am ordering batteries from all of them, and intend on doing a review of them, as well as cutting them all open to see if they really are the latest and greatest like Bloog or if they are just blowing smoke up everyones behind.

I know some people won't like a video putting vendors on blast, but hey... if you're going to claim to be the same as another vendor, yet you aren't, then you brought it on yourself pretty much. V4L is not one I intend to review, because I am fully aware they are not the same battery, nor have they ever claimed to be.

I already asked over in V4L's forum.

http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/vapor4life/225744-battery-info-differences.html

They do know, but I was a little put back by the fact that they couldn't tell me what capacity they were... This should be something they should know as even most manufacturer websites list the stats. I just don't know which manufacturer V4L goes through.

Either way, there was no confusion about them being regulated until you stated earlier that they were. Every mention of them I've seen have always stated they were not. That's the only reason I asked over in their forum. At any rate, it's cleared up now.

One other thing I thought that was interesting was, he stated that their batteries have the largest capacity out of anyone in that form factor. Well... I think we know that's not true. Bloog is 220, V4L is 180 in 65mm. Same goes for the next 2 sizes up. Bloog and Volt have them beat in capacity by an extra 40mah in all sizes.

Not sure how they would not know that these other vendors have a larger capacity. After all, Leaford did work for them, I'm sure they follow Bloog's products lol.

I remember the first time I read this....I thought the exact same thing! After I have tried them both, the "EXTRA 40 mAh" doesn't last even 5 minutes longer in real world clock time, LOL! Trust me, the 280 mAh and 320 mAh battery last the same length of time.
