After looking around the forums a bit, I'm getting the urge to attempt some DIY liquid. The major problem with this is that I don't have an atomizer/dripping setup for testing juice. I'm using Smokeless Image hardware, which is 808d threading (from what I understand). When searching for atomizers, most of what I see are 510. I have seen some 808d to 510 adapters, though.

So, if I were to purchase an adapter and some 510 atomizers, would I be able to drip with my Volt PV's? Also, are there any recommendations for suppliers or instructional videos for dripping?

Any help is greatly appreciated. :toast:

I don;t have much to offer in vendor device as I'm cheap and just buy the cheapest thing I find lol, but yes you could use an adapter anda 510 atty to drip, or you can just buy a 901 atty as it is the same threading as the 808d and will screw right on. I'm not sure if I would drip on an automatic battery even though the smokeless image automatics are sealed, I dont know how well sealed, but if you have a manual you should be fine. I am in no way super experienced, I just know the 901 atty will work causde thats what I use on my Volt

I'm down to three batteries after giving away some of my supplies to a family member who still smokes. I was planning on doing the dripping setup on my larger battery, which is a 900mAh manual X2. I have some cartridges somewhere around here that had been used with juices I hated and I couldn't boil them clean. I could attempt to modify them since I was going to throw them away anyway. If that doesn't work out, I'll just purchase a 901 atty when I get started on the DIY liquids.

Thanks again, everyone!

Pretty much any will work. No need to go too exotic/pricey.

Get the same ohms as the cartos you use, probably 2.5 or 3.

The Cisco spec atties from avidvaper are nice, but a basic $5 - $6 atty or two should do well for diy testing. I used a couple from good prophets, with an 808/510 adapter.

Don't forget to pick up a drip tip, too :)
A "510/901" drip tip will fit standard diameter atties, and also fits a standard 808 carto.

If you're already looking at AV, and have either a 510 device or 808/510 adapter, the 306's are great dripping attys and they sell 2 attys + 1 drip tip for $19.99. Keep in mind that with any battery under 650mAh you want to only use SR (standard resistance) devices. Here's a good explanation: WHAT V with WHAT mAh? carto/atty to battery info
