Most of the post on the Modern Vapor thread are about the sidesho.

What about the 902 that is also offered? What is it like? I find tons of threads about 901s, what is the difference? (and don't tell me "1!")

People have told me that since I am a heavy smoker now, that I will be wanting to upgrade from the sidesho very soon. I currently smoke 1-2 packs of 120s analogs daily. Might it really be necessary to upgrade, and why?

901s seem to be second only to the 510s in popularity on this forum. I've been looking around for a 901, and then I remembered that Tony has a 902 - so why not go with that? I hear they have a much longer battery life, larger carts and now have a PCC.

Could someone give me a comparison between the 901, that you can find anywhere, and the 902 that Modern Vapor has? I would like to stick with Tony for my orders.

If the 900 series is much better than the sidesho for someone who most likely will be a chain vaper, and if the sidesho that I ordered hasn't shipped yet, should I tell Tony that I want to trade up? Or should I just wait (and not drive Tony more nuts than I have already) and get a 902 later?

I have both a regular 901 and a 902 from Tony and I do find the 902 superior to the 901. the connector ends are the reverse of the 901, the draw is easier, and less flooding. I also find Tony's 902 220mah battery to last longer. I also think the carts last longer between fills than the 901. You can also interchange the 902 parts with the 510 parts

Im new and I have the 510 and for the most part love it (just the throat hit). I do find my atomizer getting very hot and having to switch a lot (annoying) as well as having to top off frequently. I just ordered new attys and an extra battery but shipping takes forever! Im also interested in a 902 or something with a longer battery life and a good throat hit. Thanks...

What is the number for a sidesho BTW? Are 902s and sideshos interchangeable at all - carts and chargers, especially?

Thanks,
A

The Sidesho is essentially a 401, like the Dragon from True Smoker, but it has a better battery and bigger cart.

Now if someone could answer the original question it would be great. What's the differences between the Sidesho and the 902? Thanks.

The 902 is like a 901, it's a little bigger than the sidesho with a recessed atomizer and bigger cartridges. Cartridges are a fuller flatip than the 901 but on the same order, however the side show atomizers will go on the 902 and vice versa.

When I spoke with Tony yesterday, he said that the 902 is currently being redesigned and even further improved. From what I remember, he will still carry the parts for the 902 that was on MV but that the new one wont be as interchangeable with parts from the original 902. My guess is that these questions are going unanswered because it's simply not done yet.

Also from my clouded memory...in comparison to the Sidesho, it does have a longer battery life, larger carts to hold even more fluid, and longer than the Sidesho.

I just ordered my Sidesho yesterday but from what he was telling me about the 902, it's definitely something I will keep an eye on.

All this mass confusion on what the actual models are is a pain. That's why I admire companies like Totally Wicked which don't try to hide the real model number.

I didn't know anything was trying to be hidden...

The 902 is a branded J-118 AKA VX2
