It is happened 2x to me to both batteries i just got.. i charged it up, have used it on an off for a few hours, then refilled the cart, put it together and-- again, 1st hit is red, then green flashes. does it for a while, count count how many times..

if i let it sit awile it will go back to red.. and if i blow on the batt by itself it will stay red over and over but put it back on the atomizer and it does the same thing, 1st hit red, then green flashes...
blow on just the battery right after it does that and it stays green for a while again.. till i let it sit about 10 min.

Arhhhh!

i charged it all day while i slept for 3rd shift..
its making me crazy!
i've blown out the atty, done all i can think of..

I love the flavor on this but i'm getting annoyed with this (be it short batt life or whatever) and the small cart size.

any help?

Sounds like you may have gotten a bad batch of batteries. :( The green flash is telling you the battery needs recharging. Specifically, it should flash green 15 times to tell you the voltage is too low and needs to be charged. (The reason why it seems to operate normal if you just blow on the battery is that there is no drain on the battery....you are just causing the led to light up.....but once you connect the atomizer on there, you are putting a drain on the battery) If this is the case on recently charged batteries, your batteries are not holding their charge and need to be replaced by your supplier. However, if you are stating that this is happening after vaping on a battery for a couple of hours, this might be normal....dependant upon how heavily you vape. If you are non-stop vaping for a couple of hours, then yes, you're 901 battery is depleting quickly, but normally. If this is the case, you may want to look into either an external battery source (Kensington power pack) or a battery mod. Sorry to hear about your bad experience, my first, and to this day, daily vape is my 901.

Hmm. I dont know how "heavily" i've been vaping but its the 1st ecig i've really liked.. i'd say i puffed on it regularly for a few hours at work.. but my friends seem to last a day or a bit more w/ reg smoking.. Of course they are the 501 and vx2.

I did email the company, save a smoker.. i wondered that myself, since i got purple, may it is less popular and was an older battery? I dunno. we will see..

Well....regular vaping on it for a few hours is probably signs of a decent battery. There's no way your friend's 510 is lasting all day. I own one of those as well and the battery life is considerably shorter than my 901. Maybe he is using a PCC which allows him to charge one battery while he's using the other? As for the VX2, I don't have any experiences to talk from. If you are using this at work and have a computer, I would highly suggest you use a USB passthrough so you aren't relying on the batteries. Your other alternative would be to look at a battery mod, either purchasing one or making one yourself. The NicoStick is a very easy boxmod to build, the part are very inexpensive, and the 14500 battery will definitely last you an entire day.
