now that i have become a carto junkie, i am wondering if there is a way to make the air holes in them more consistent. its pretty much a crap shoot with how the filler is wrapped around the air hole in your carto. i am finding that the you can see all the way thru most of these holes when they are new, but as they get juiced, the packing seems to expand and the centrifugal force of spinning them in a lanyard probably makes them start to sag as well. within a couple days, the throughput seems to diminish.
has anyone tried the straw in the hole trick with these yet? i bet if we can figure this out, we can get these to last longer... i usually end up pitching them because i have to draw on em so hard, and not because they are actually worn out.
