I just ordered a 4nine copper mod. I am going to try my hand at patina. And then I want to get a Stainless Steel mod... can't decide if I want a nemisis or a chi you. I want to do an alcohol ink patina on it. And I actually think I may do the alcohol ink on my MVP2. Maybe practice on it.

I tried an alcohol ink patina on my brass Nemesis yesterday. I'm undecided on whether or not I like it. I used blue and lime green Adirondack ink on those Adirondack felt pad thingies. Two coatings makes it show up more. The only things I had to seal it with were water based varnish and Krylon. The Krylon removes the ink, so I put two light coats of the varnish on, then sprayed on a coat of Krylon.

When I did it, I put all the tubes together, and removed the two brass end caps so the tubes would all match, and the caps would both stay brass for contrast. I put the end caps back on when I sprayed the Krylon, because I figured the Krylon would help keep the end caps from tarnishing. My husband and mother thought it looked pretty. I'll try to take a picture of it today.

Nice job Giggler! You're on your way to being a master coil builder. My first successful coil looked nowhere near that clean!

I have to admit it took me a long time before I was able to do it.....and even now it's not my first choice item to grab.....but there are times when I just have to have it..... it's not for everyone.

Eventually you will! I thought coils would be hard, but once i understood how to rebuild the type of coil I was building, they turned out to be easy once I got it, especially if you get some help from some great people! Now, I am only building on bottom coil tanks (smok tech bottom coils and kanger evod) and top coil tanks (a ce4 for practice that I held onto that was my first tank, and yet to do: my innokin iclear16 coils). I have not rebuilt my little dripper yet, so it may be slightly different, but once I learn it im sure it will be easy.

So Dykey, how is that Squape different from a Kayfun? It looks very similar from the pics I can find, although I like the circular sight glass holes.

The short free deck is awesome. The build is a bit different but super easy and kinda fun, but it is difficult to get the wicking down right for leaking and what not. Flavor is a bit better imo, clouds about equal, ease of fill so much better...you can pull it off the deck and fill it without spilling. But its a quality piece and gotta love never worrying about shorts. The draw is about the same as well. Looks good, feels good. I usually get clones but I couldn't pass up a nearly never used one with a glass tank installed for 65 less.

Just vaping a new diy hazelnut....I know, I know, same ol, same ol Ducky vaping a new hazelnut she created[emoji12] It turned out really yummy! I actually made 3 different kinds of hazelnut this evening! Lol My first one was 50/50 using capella hazelnut flavoring, the 2nd one was 60/40 5ml with FW hazelnut and a vanilla cream (dont remember from where right off the top of my head.....bf asleep on my lap and I dont wanna disturb him cause he had a long day ) , and the 3rd one is 33/67 5ml TFA hazelnut and one drop of the vanilla cream. They all turned out so yummy!! So, I am looking for some good creamy vanilla flavorings, does anyone know of some good ones? I really like creamy vanilla mixed with hazelnut, and would like to find a few more

Oh, BTW, everyone.. I picked up the new Nautilus BVC heads. They live up to the hype. Now I rate the Nautilus with the BVC heads better than the Aerotank Mega. Still not up to Kayfun level for me, but great as a ready made option.

Every morning after we sleep with the bedroom windows open I wake up with itchy eyes and stuffy sinuses. It sucks. Never had allergy issues when I was younger. It started a few years ago and gets worse every year. Blah. If the pollen maps are to be believed, it's some type of weed pollen that gets me.

It's weird. But at least it only affects the flavor of some juices for me. Like creams pretty much disappear, your Horchata is one that tastes totally different. Others are just fine.. Lemon Pound Cake and Peanut Butter Cup. *shrug*
