dykaliscious, I was backreading this thread and noticed you posted something about slim's ejuice. They are the first vendor I ever ordered from (not that it's been long--I've tried maybe 5 total in 4 months of vaping) and I was struck by their low pricing and massive flavor range & customization.
I hope it isn't considered rude to discuss this here... You are the only one ever I've heard mention this company, and I've really looked and even asked on ECF about it. Please feel free to respond in PM if I'm making a faux pas.
OK, so, I 'liked" them on FB to get the discount before I knew a thing about them (shameless participation in rampant consumerism/commercialism, yes) and tried some flavors. Butterscotch first--
and it was absolutely disgusting.
However, after 4 weeks of waiting, all that nasty, plasticky, chemical-ly unvapeableness has changed into something rather nice.
Heartened, I ordered some more 10ml sizes in a sample pack. Pretty much the same thing happened to these (with a couple of exceptions)--they were gross at first and transformed (over an unbearable amount of time) into at least OK flavors.
The exceptions I mentioned went two ways: a few flavors (Godfather, a sweet-cream vanilla custard blend and Unicorn, a jungle-mix of candied fruit), were possible to vape within a much shorter time period. One flavor (blue moon) just never got any better.
My question is, what do you think of them? Also, is that a normal wait-period to get something vapeable? Is it indicative of crazy chemicals being used in the process or something else scary? I am not against artificial flavors as such-- I just don't want them doing a destructive jig in my sinuses.
Ah, me. My unofficial motto: "Why use one word when twenty will do?" I would appreciate any feedback from anyone who cares to contribute on any of the issues raised--specific OR general. Being a newbie, i need all the help I can get when making judgments about this stuff.
