As of 12:00 AM, January 1, 2014, I will be two solid years healthier. BluCig and Square disposables are no longer in my repertoire. They fell the way of my sweet juices and my eGo batteries. 18 mg lasted for the first 12 months and 12 mg got me through the second. This upcoming year, it's 6 mg then on to ZERO (I refuse to be controlled by big tobacco). Boba's Bounty and Gorilla juice will be shed this year as AVE has advised me that these will never be offered in 0 mg.

I WILL take up rebuildables at some point in 2014 (resolution #1). I recently acquired a ProTank-type tank that uses Kanthal coils (Vapor Shark Glass) and this thing blows the ProTank atomizer heads out of the water on a nuclear level. I will continue using my Phiniac and Loki Labs carto tanks with my Boge cartos. My HH.357's will, undoubtedly, get me through another year of dripping. Three more ProVari APVs are in my future and my Vapor Shark DNA 20 will always be within reach. My ProTanks may be phased out. AND...I will build my T.A.R.D.I.S. box (actually a blue 1929 Mackenzie Trench police box) to hold all my APVs (resolution #2)! I've drawn up the plans and now just need to actually start doing some measuring, cutting, and glueing (or nailing...not sure yet). I think I'll have the base insert (will be cut to hold my six most valued APVs) cut by a plastic printing company (any recommendations?)

So, here's to 2014! Goodbye BB and GJ (later in the year). Looking forward to trying more of eVapesOK's premium juices (absolutely love #47). I will continue watching Phil Busardo knowing full well that his taste in juice differs drastically from mine. I will continue making my version of Djarum Black as it has taken me two full years to get it exactly the way I want it. I will also attempt to get my cat to stop fighting with me over control of my drip tips (hopeful resolution #3).

So, what have you learned and what do you hope to accomplish in this upcoming year?

Congrats on 2 years in!!!

I also would like to take up rebuildables - but Im a little sketchy on it....LOL. I just moved into carto-tanks (I was sketchy on those too - it sounded like so much work to get one up and running - but it wasnt!) I certainly plan on ordering some more blown glass carto tanks :D and I am also looking at an aurora BFT....but what I REALLY want is a Reo!

Being a YouTube addict of sorts, I think rebuildables are just a new and intriguing challenge. I'm still at the shaky knee stage (advanced from the shaking in my boots stage). :vapor:

I am at about the same point LOL. My OH also vapes - but I handle EVERYTHING. He is an architectural genius - he is NOT a vaping genius. He already says I have a mad scientists lab - so I can only imagine the comments I will get once I add RBAs/Supplies to my repertoire.....and of course that means I have to build his...UGH. lol.

I'm coming up on 15 months. In the last year, I've graduated to larger devices, the occasional mod, and learned to DIY to the point that I like my liquid better than anything I've ever bought.

My go-to is a Kanger T3. This year's goal is to learn to re-coil and re-wick the heads so I don't have to constantly buy them at $3 a pop (I'm a cheap SOB).

I have wick and Kanthal wire just waiting for the first opportunity to start working. I understand it's harder than most RBA devices, but I build electronics so I'm used to careful work in very small areas.

Oh, we are such a brave bunch! :)

Hey...I have that same lab I'm sure. I have no qualms about building my own computers (or even a T.A.R.D.I.S.) but atomizer, well...

Exactly!! A good friend of mine is now into RBAs and is just pestering me to suck it up and get moving on it....but its so convenient to pull out a new punched carto or pop a coil out of a blister pack LOL....I will suck it up sooner or later....

You mirror my sentiment succinctly.

I was looking at that Vapor Shark GLASS just a few days ago. Looks very interesting; are the atomiser heads interchangeable between the protanks?

I'm planning on batching it. If I do it right, I'll only have to sit down and put in some concentrated effort for a few hours every two months or so.

Planning stages....thats a good thing to call the place where I am LOL....With my OH the batch theory will be out the window. He destroys EVERYTHING. He doesnt understand VV/VW and he seems to accidentally change the watts occasionally and will destroy a coil before he says "Hey Lady, this tasted burnt then it stopped working" and deposit everything in my hands to fix. I even let him take over one of the MVPs to make it harder to change and he still does it. Whats worse- Ive shown him about 584684 times what it should be set too and how to fix it.

Im terrified of what he will do to my beautiful perfect coils....(once Im done "planning" them lol)

He sounds like my mom. One recent exchange was that she had broken three tanks in one day. Three. The bodies, not the attys, which I could have dealt with by bringing her extras.

I had pneumonia at the time (of the ear, strangely, which is neither dangerous nor scary, just really painful and annoying). I didn't want to spread it around to an older woman particularly.

I ended up giving her an early Christmas present of the two tanks I'd bought her, knowing that she's a biter and destroys them in weeks.

I mean really, planning, people. :) I have 12 Kanger T3 tanks lined up, filled, and ready to go. In the last year, I've broken two--one by dropping, the other cracked in my mouth after many months of use.

That sounds like a very pragmatic and industrious approach Morph, get all the eyestrain out of the way in one day :) , although you prollaby have one of those bench magnifiers being a solderer-er.

I do, and I strongly recommend them for anybody who does close work on anything. It'll be invaluable for wrapping coils.

The Helping Hands (you probably won't need the clamps, but they might come in handy for stabilizing the wire) at Radio Shack is inexpensive, and has a powerful and very large magnifying glass for bench work.

One of my tasks for the New Year is to attach an LED ring to the glass' exterior in stark white with a battery pack to light what I'm doing.

I'm knocking on wood as I write this but, after two years, I have yet to break anything (except for a defective MVP whose fire button just fell out for no reason).

CreepyLady...you need to get control of that guy or cut him off (from all your vaping considerations). :)

Well I gave up quite a few years ago on controlling him  and if I cut him off he will go back to smoking and my nose cant take that!! He has over this year gotten down to 6mg - so as he closes in on 0 nic I see an end in sight!!! LOL
