I am looking for info on the new mod called the "Chameleon". I saw the vid for the mod from the guy who makes them (cant remember his name). It looked like an awesome unit. I was wondering if anyone here has gotten one and can tell me about all the good and if applicable, the bad about it. I'm thinking about getting one. I can only afford to buy 1 mod, and I want to make sure that its all its talked up to be, before I raid my savings acct! LOL Any posts are greatly appreciated and Thanks for your opinions.......

I have a Chameleon and like it for its small size. I also have a Little Chuck and 2 Chucks, which give me a much bigger 'hit' at the 3.7 v power compared to the Chameleon. But the Chameleon doesn't get 'too hot' if I chain-vape it for a while.

On the other hand, my Little Chuck CAN use the same batteries as the Chameleon - 16340's - but it's big enough in diameter to accomodate the 18350 batteries that last a great deal longer than the 16340's - at least twice as long, maybe three times as long, in my experience.

The proprietor of Ikenvape is on vacation until next Sunday, and is expecting new stock of Chameleons shortly after he returns - I believe he is currently out of stock.

I also like the Laser Pointer mods that Ikenvape sells for $35.00, either 901 or 510 adapters. The 10440 batteries for these, thought, don't last as long as the 16340's.

You can look at pics of the Chameleon on my profile. The Chameleon will have a sleeve, in the next 2 weeks, to bring it up a notch in voltage. It (the Chameleon-Not the sleeve)gives you the ability to use the 801/901/510 atomizers, right off the bat.808 carto's ifn ya want! Once the sleeve is in, you will have the experience that you have been looking for in mods. It is made to fit in your hand. The button will not be a problem to depress or worry about being depressed while in your pocketbook or pocket. Scratch resistant is a plus. This little gem always looks good. Isaac will answer any and all questions you have. Feel free to e-mail him and he will be at your doorstep.

The only bad I can put into action is getting the batteries at the best price possible. As always, we look for the best deals and suffer from doing so. Buy the beat and you will get the best. I love my Chameleon.

Issac, the guy who sells them (someone else makes them) is on vacation right now. The Chameleon is a nice little mod - totally modular - end cap with covered spring - batt chamber, switch module - totally contained - no wires - compression fitting module that comes with the 901, 801 and 510 fittings no screwing in except for the atty. Batt and switch are totally sealed. That said, I prefer the Protege for the 'tube' style mod and the Bartleby for the box style because they're using the 14500/900mAh 3.7/4.2 peak battery. The Chammy has the 16340/880mAh 3.7/4.2 peak batt but it doesn't seem to hold that peak voltage, imo, like the 14500.

I (and a another person I know) have had some problems with specs on the adapters that would take more to explain exactly what it is, so I'll just say that in some instances I have to use a staple mod in order to get a connection on the 510 adapter, after vacations, I'll be sending mine back in for them to adjust, but one good thing is that the mod has a 1 year warranty.
