I've been thinking about picking up 2 18350's for my telescopic mod and trying a stacked setup instead of a single 18650 to get higher voltage. I realize that you still can't exceed your battery's maximum current output, but even so, if you're multiplying the same 10 amps by double the volts, you end up with higher overall watts. I understand about making sure the batteries are equally charged, and rotating them each cycle. I have consistent access to a multimeter to check exact voltages. My main concern is basically whether or not this is a safe mod to do this with - I'm vaping on the Sentinel M16 clone by HCigar, with a Plume Veil rebuildable. My coil setup is dual clapton coils at about .3 Ohms, and they're quite a bit of metal for a single 18650 to heat up quickly.

Well considering the M16 has around 0.2 ohm voltage drop on it's own, you could probably drop your resistance and run a VTC4...better performance without the questionable safety of stacked 350s.

If you have the DVOM, I'd say find the voltage drop on your mod, and work it accordingly. Advanced stuff, read battery safety, at your own risk, etc.

Thanks for the info, I dropped down to .20 Ohms so even at a full charge I'm only pushing 20 amps, which is pretty much maxing out these batteries....can't wait for my VTCs

Get a multimeter if you don't have one and make sure you check em.. I sometimes stack my 2 purple Efests in my Vamo but I've noticed when it hits the 6v low voltage cutoff, one battery might be at like 3.4, where the other one has dropped to 2.6 (bad!!!). Getting em "matched" would be ideal but I can't think of a vendor that sells matched pairs of 350s..

Getting them both new and at the same time is usually good enough. You can get one battery that is sub-par, but it does not happen often. Checking voltage as new batteries discharge the first few times should identify that. Then use them only stacked and they should stay pretty well matched for a long time.

The battery you have that runs down way quicker than the other is IMO probably worn out. I wouldn't use it stacked with the better battery anymore.

They were bought as a pair actually.. I think my #2 might be draining faster than #1. They are Efests after all. I'll probably pick up a pair of AWs for stacking and keep the Efests for single use at work..
