Tried out the MadVapes tank...doesnt have the clearance to close (unless maybe you pushed on it, but i feel that would put stress on the brass arm)....i tried it with a shirt 510 extender and a longer one.

However, the arm WILL close enough that it turns off the Darwin, it just wont close all the way. Might be good enough for you, i feel better when it closes all the way.

I ordered a 3inch gooseneck b/c the one I have is a 5 1/4inch which is to big and to heavy. I think the 3" will work much better for me. I spoke to the guy at TTT who makes them and he said most Darwin users buy the 3" and like it best to use with tanks. I bought it in black w/ silver tips, which will look better with the Darwin as well IMO. I'll let all you know how it goes.

I got money in that is what happened lmao! It never fails. I hope it is worth the wait for me. This will be the first mod I am going to buy. I have a couple of box mods I made and enjoy, but none are variable voltage or wattage. I am looking forward to getting one for sure. Finally made the decision to get this over the Provari so I hopefully I am making the right decision.

Now I am thinking maybe should just get a GG.

From what I have read, you should be very pleased with the Darwin.

A GG is a totally different animal than the Darwin. It is a work of art.
It is one of the best looking pv's out there along with the Katana.
And, it works very well.
To be specific, the Darwin is variable WATTAGE not voltage.
It adjusts the voltage to the wattage that you set.
Darwin or Provari, you can't go wrong with either.

Exactly ..What a machine. The wheel problem is easy to adjust to. soon you won't even think aboout it.
I've had alot of Ecigs, but the Darwin only takes 1st place.
Enjoy

It took me awhile to make up my mind to get a Darwin.
Not like my provari, which took all of half a day for me to decide.
And, at the risk of sounding clichè, I shouldn't have waited.
I have had it for, oh, 4 hours and, my God, it is undoubtedly
one of the best VV mods out there, imo.
I stuck a boge 3.0 cart on it and it vapes SUPER!
For some reason or another, I feel it is more consistent at 8watts
than either my Provari or my Reo bottom feeder.

Now for the caveat. I hate, hate, HATE, this wattage wheel!!
Only 4 hours in and I've already discovered 1st hand how when you stick
this mod in your jeans pocket, and it is quite pocketable with the lever down,
the wheel can catch and turn on its own thus changing wattage without
you ever knowing until you try and take a toke.
Frustrating.
Having said that, I just stuck it into my chest pocket and problem solved!

What a machine :vapor:
