so my 901 and liquid should be here tomorrow and i was wondering if there is a "ritual" that needs to be done at night? i mean do i need to always top it off to keep the atomizer moist even when not in use? or is it a good idea to let it clear out? any and all ideas will be appreciated. and if this is in the wrong section im sorry. i just figured it belonged here because its a noob question.

Spend some time reading and watching the videos under the Comprehensive Guide to vaping at the top of the New Members Forum...it's well worth your time trust me.

I do clean out my atomizers "almost" every night, but I'm the lazy kind. I know you probably have plenty of questions, I did, and still do. So read the Guide and it should answer all the questions you have now, as well as all the questions you'll have once you start vaping.

GRATS on your purchase and good luck!

Has anyone cleaned their atomizers before the first use? Is there any drawbacks to this? I'm scared of the primer taste that comes with a new atomizer. Any ideas would be helpful.

I wouldn't bother. I'm not sure, but I think new atomizers are just primed with PG or VG minus the flavor. This is what you're getting with cartridges or ejuice anyway (plus flavoring and nicotine). I've puffed a few new atomizers without a cartridge and didn't notice much taste at all, but I wouldn't recommend it - you never know for sure how much juice is in a new cartridge and you want to avoid hitting it when it's dry. Just drip 2 or 3 drops of ejuice (if you have any) into the atomizer or put a new catridge in and let it sit for 15 or 20 minutes before using. You should be getting your flavor after 4 or 5 hits.

Yea I got some juice. Ill just drip on the atomizer I guess. Do I even need a catridge if I drip? I thought I saw that you could use an empty cartridge somewhere.
