I didn't tell the this story to make fun or name call the owner of the store actually. I told the story because he treated me like I was a fool,that I didn't know what I liked and what I had wasn't what the cool kids had. and although didn't appreciate the way I was treated, I did think it was hilarious.
Different strokes for different folks, I know everyone likes different things and I'm all for liking what you like, but don't stand there and tell me what I'm going to like is all I was tying to put out there. You know, my husband loves pop music, I love punk, he loves meat, and I'm a vegetarian and we can live together in harmony, like I said, different strokes.

By the way, I didn't think it was you who was participating in that competitiveness. At all.

It was the store owner......and I was just saying I hate to see the industry and vapers "go this way".

It used to be just about getting off combustible tobacco products/smokes. That has always been the goal.

Now, with cloud contests and "mine is better than yours" it just seems like vaping is going in a direction of designer handbags or something.

He takes it and looks it over and hands it back shaking his head with a stupid smirk on his face and says “ silly little thing isn’t it?, We looked into selling those, but found NO ONE WANTED them ”

Well maybe nobody who comes into HIS store wants them.

Here, where I live, I think they wouldn't sell too well, either, to be honest.

I live in the middle of nowhere, people come here to camp, fish and enjoy wildlife, etc. Nobody wears or cares about designer clothes, so I suspect that will bleed over to the ecig biz here. I've seen lots w/ego batts but "mods" don't sell here too well.

Vape stores are paying high rents, etc. and they are going to carry and sell what they can get out the door, fast and in quantity. And that would be the "under $50 gear" IMHO, in most places across the US.

Before the REOiatus, I used to get the same thing quite a bit. A friend of mine and I went in to one place to have the store employees tell me about how I needed to upgrade or how "in their long six months experience" that I could get so much more out of "insert the most expensive piece of junk we carry here." I wanted to be a smarmy ... but I held my tongue. My friend however says, "Really? Cool? Does that come in an 808 or a 901 connection?

Perhaps I would've just taken a long reo vape and replied, "Why would I go back to potted meat after living on steak?"
