A idea for a new type of e-cig

A quick background on myself, I spent 11 years in the Marine Corps as an Electronics Tech and I started playing with electronics several years before that. But any who, with all this debate about pros and cons of wick material, I came up with an idea for a completely wickless e-cig and wanted to get some feed back on it.

The idea is to use 2 separate chambers. one is a storage tank for the fluid and the second is a small enclosed area with the coil in it.

The second change is the power system. instead of just applying 3-5 VDC to a coil for a duration of time, I want to use a compositor that could be charged of as little as 1.5 VDC and then discharged into the coil at like 50-100 VDC to flash vaporize the liquid in the vapor chamber.

Do ya'll think it could work and more impotently, does anyone know if something like this already exists?

im a skeptic, sorry.

i love to design and build things. my big question is how. how are you going to bump up the voltage. how are you going to mist liquid into the atomizer. how is your coil going to survive 100v, and for how long. is it going to be a continuous feed, or do you get a 1 millisecond hit? how are you going to machine this, sounds pretty high tech to me.

please prove me wrong, i have a pretty small mind so it shouldnt be that hard to do i guess... i just cant wrap my head around all the issues. and im not trying to be condescending, heck i'll help ya if you have a sound theory and some idea on how to go about it.

LOLLLL sure take a Chinese based company to court over patent infringement. You could always ask New Balance how that went. Nephew and myself are in the midst of designing a new mod but prolly won't release it cuz Chinese would just clone it, use cheap slave labor and flood the Mkt with it. We also have designed a new wickless delivery system. Not completely finished but getting there.

Hard to give an opinion, but plenty of room for speculation.

I say no, it won't work: e-liquids are sensitive to temperature, and flash vaporizing them is more likely to leave a burnt taste.

I have an idea for what would work, but it would likely be large and expensive, and still require playing with buttons or dials.

What kind of power are you looking to push. Ohms law 100vdc at (what resistance) would be safe to vaporize without absolutely cooking the e-juice?

It would be almost like a "sparkplug" effect...little lightening bolt and instant vapor, but would A. the nicrome coil be able to withstand the heat B. would it exceed the carmelizing temperature of the e-juice

Definitely an interesting idea...

Might be worth a prototype. But I'm of the mind that an ultrasonic e-cig would be the next big leap forward in e-cig tech.
Micronise the inductive "cooking pads" (NuWave) this way you have a metal puck inside the wicking material...hit the button, heat the little metal puck under the wick to get your vapor (only problem is gotta make sure it doesn't heat filling or rings or whatever!!!!)

Sounds pretty gnarly.
The only thing I've seen even remotely like a double chamber would be a tank with a separated wall, so you could vape two flavours at once, that's the only sort of thing I've seen even slightly similar, even though they aren't comparable at all! So your concept seems to be very innovative and useful, if its achievable.
