And also change battery connections as in VF batteries are in paraller and for dna200 they should be connected in series. That is part that is bugging me the most
I'm guessing you'd have to isolate the 510 ground from the rest of the flask if you put one battery in backwards to make it series. ???? You'd have to have some serious time and patience to pull this type a conversion off. Not impossible, obviously since one exists.

But clearly very difficult since only one exists, lol.

I'm guessing you'd be better off to find a broken big screen flask and start there. If I could find one for cheap, I guarantee you I'd solder a 200 (133) in there. How much bigger is the big screen flask compared to the small? I have a silver Waidea flask not being used. I'd spend $80 to fit the chip and route out the screen hole a little bigger.
the routing would be difficult to make really pretty unless you have a modern metal-working shop with state of the art tools, not practical for 99% of folks.

the USB port would be a problem. It wouldn't line up or even be the same orientation compared with the existing one cut in. I'd have to make some sort of adapter or something.............
does anyone even use the USB port other than in an emergency?

I've retrofitted dn40 in a couple of small screen Flasks, and that's child's play compared to what's involved with doing a dna200 flask.

was one of them the Waidea? - wondering if you gained anything by doing the DNA40 retrofit, as I am considering retrofitting my awesomely built Waidea (the machining is very well done) and wondering what the advantages are in real world use.

With the DNA 40 there is no delay in firing and it has preheat. After locking the DNA 40 stays locked.
Edit: But as long as the board in the Waidea Flask works as intended I see no reason to upgrade it. IMO
