I think you missed the point of my post. It's not a 2700mah battery.
Of course. I wasn't sure if you understood how battery life works with multiple cells in series. It seems like you do. Seems like the 3s lipos are creating a lot of confusion. It also makes it hard for modders to advertise the battery specs when most vapers only understand mah. They'll think "only 900 mah? My istick has much more battery life than that crap."

LiquidDave -

just picked up a Litt from a local B&M last night for both my wife and I. BIG box with battery for days. If my wife decides she doesn't like hers for some reason, I'll let you know.

Really? I am on their waiting list and have been for awhile. How on earth did a local BM get them You must be local to Litt or something? I can't imagine your wife not liking the device. The dna 200 is such a great chip. I am no longer bitter about the dna 40 flask I purchased to sit on my desk and be a paper weight.

I agree it's confusing for folks who aren't in the know, but that isn't an excuse for manufacturers to list incorrect specs. The manufacturers need to do a better job of educating folks; those of us here who understand can also help with battery education. Everyone was green at one point and learned (hopefully) about battery technology...users will catch up. In the long run, manufacturers who incorrectly list LiPo specs will cause more confusion.

Incorrect battery specs is rampant across all battery platforms unfortunately.

Honestly, with the 133w setting in the DNA 200 software, I'd love to see a 2S lipo version come out. The batteries are limitless in the 2S form factor.
Yes u can find smaller 2s lipos with higher mah. But they are less watt hours. I was excited for this until I realized that even tho I could get a 2000mah 2s battery it was about exactly the same as having a 3s 1300 mah and sizes were equal

My wife's vaping needs are fairly simple and I'll be a bit surprised if her mod ever goes beyond 30W. The local B&M had purchased 5 at the Las Vegas show. Unfortunately, there was some confusion around pricing and they bought them at retail. The market for higher end mods isn't strong in Boise, so they sat for awhile. I bought 'em for $260 each...a little over retail, but not bad.
