I have a 3 piece 510 and have grown very sick of dealing with atomizers. I am switching to a KR808D-1 (Halo G6) which is arriving today. It uses anti-leak cartomizers with soft tips that can be refilled. I think this will be a very good fit for me because it combines the ability to save money by using juice with the ease of using a two piece e-cig. It will be so nice to not have to deal with burnt filler and annoying atomizers!

You can also use standard cartomizers on your 510. If it's a Riva/eGo class fat battery (> 500 mAh), try a pack of Boge 2 ohm low resistance 510 connector cartos. If it's a smaller normal or Mega 510 battery (< 300 mAh capacity), try some Boge standard resistance 510 connector cartos.
(It's always good to have backup equipment)

I don't like the fat battery models. I prefer a smaller e-cig and I'm fine with the size of the small 510T I'm using. The model I ordered has better battery technology and they are supposed to last much longer. Honestly, my main complaints are juice leaking and ending up with burnt taste from attys and filler getting worn out. I don't want to drip, either. I'm just really sick of how messy dealing with a 3 pc e cig is. I also like to use a variety of flavors, so reusable cartomizers are just a better choice for me.

You can use cartomizers on a 510. No battery is going to defy the laws of physics. They are what they are. Some batteries hold a more consistant charge.

You should check out Halo's cartos...they come with a little plastic container that holds 5 of the KR808D1 cartos. I saw a review of the blank ones where a guy had re-used one at least 7 times with absolutely no burnt taste. They have an angled soft tip that prevents leaking too. They've got some interesting flavors of juice too. I can't wait to try out the Malibu Menthol coming with my kit today. It's a pina colada blended with a light menthol flavor and sounds absolutely delish! :) I only ordered my stuff from Halo at around 7pm on the 19th and it's being delivered today according to tracking. That's not even 3 full days...so fast! :)

Yeah, I know...but based on a lot of research and watching video reviews I am positive I will like the G6 better. That kit is just really unique and I love the packaging...nothing else like it out there.

I'm not a big fan of Halo juice, not to say it's bad it's just not my cup of tea. My sister thought my favorite juice smelled like shoe polish and hates it. But many people really love it. I might have to try it again and might change my mind. I'd dealt with them and I think they're an excellent company that seem to really care about putting out quality products. I think their juice is PG, so that might be another reason why they're cartos last so long. I know my clear PG juices last way longer than PG/VG mix.

I hope you do! It's great when you find a vendor you're really happy with. Let us know how you like it.

I'm not currently using cartos...I'm switching to them because I don't like the 510 tank cartridges with atomizer set up. It's constantly leaking juice no matter how careful I am and I spend more time messing with the tank and atomizer than I do vaping, so I'm switching to cartos and will be using the condom method, most likely.

I didn't have luck with tanks either. But you could use cartos on the 510. I have one and I do. I mostly use the 510 for shopping and things because I prefer a big battery. But I think you get a good vape with a 510 with Boge SR cartomizers.

lol...there is a shop nearby that sells juice and the owner recommended this "Wild West Menthol" to me and I bought some and about gagged on it...the most nasty stuff I ever tasted in my life, lol. It was Velvet Vapors juice. I had used their Butterscotch and really liked that. I haven't actually used the Halo juice yet...today will be the first, but the reviews I've seen are very positive. I like that they use a born on date, it's made in the US in an actual lab with trained professionals making it and that the carts come in the little plastic holder that is safety sealed and reusable. My heart will be broken if I don't like it, lol. I have heard some say that some of the Halo flavors need to "steep" after being opened for best flavor. I don't mind the Velvet Vapor Menthol Ice or the Phoenix Vapor menthol light juice. Those are the others I've tried. I do have to say, though, that the G6 KR808D1 looks mighty sexy, lol.

I started with attys and cartridges too. It was enough to get me off smoking, but I can't imagine going back to that method. Cartomizers are much better all around. Like others said, you can get some cartos for your 510 too. Then you'll have two better working kits.

You mentioned that you have a 510T. I tried the tanks for a while, and they were definitely an improvement over atty/cartridges (or dripping). They had their problems too though. Have you seen the new sapphire tanks? Check out the GotVapes subforum for a bunch of reviews. They look really promising. They look like another really convenient option that works well. May be something worth checking out (and they're pretty cheap). Right now they only have 510 ones, but I think they'll have 808s too.

I think I may have called what I have the wrong thing, lol. I have the atty and cartridges that have filler. I thought those were called tanks too...so if I'm wrong then I apologize for the confusion.

Yes atomizers are a pain in the a. I only use an atomizer on my manual 510 to test juices. The rest of the time I use thin clear juices (20% VG or less) in Boge 510 standard resistance cartomizers on the 510. I vape both manual 510 with the Boge standard resistance (a moister warm vape) and KR808D-1 w/ Vapor4Life WOW cartos (a bit hotter drier vape) and I use plastic or delrin drip tips on both as a mouthpiece - small, cool on the lips, easy to remove to add juice.

There's a good deal on Halo juices if you check the Steals and Deals thread in the PIF section.

Vapor Station is pretty similiar in that they use glass bottles and list every ingredient in the juice on the bottle.
