Here is a tip someone gave me. It has worked many of times.

There is a trick to this if it can be fixed.

You will need paper clip or something small enough to fit into the the hole in the battery connector.
First, stick the paper clip in the connector end. Only just far enough, but not too much to pierce the batt.
Second, tilt over the paper clip as if you were trying to pry the center connector out.
Ever so slightly tilt the paper clip to see the center section move.
Now pull gently and twist the batt at the same time. Or you can release the pressure, then twist and then reapply the pressure.

This will allow you to shift the center contact out just a bit.
With some atomizers, their center contact does not stick out far enough to touch.
Or, some batts are the same.

I received my order from cignot Thursday and out of the box the battery worked fine but when I tried to charge it it would not charge. I e-mailed Terri and she said a new one was on the way with a return envelope. Maybe they got a bad batch. The customer service at Cignot is second to none so you should not have any problems getting it resolved.

so i ordered my kit on the 28th ish and my battery is already broken! i didnt do anything but vape on it for a day..a single day.. and it wont charge or vape... Its killing me! i wrote my company and asked if i could have it replaced.. hoping for some good news but dang it! im so upset i cant vape right now!

Give us some more info and maybe someone can help you.

What brand/model?

What does it do when you try to vape?

What does it do when you try to charge?

What vendor did you get it from?

P.S. It sounds like GML38's advice is probably good for the model you probably have. If you follow it, and it works, just don't tighten the battery too tight when either connecting it to your charger or your atomizer. It just needs to make contact, you don't have to tighten it all the way until you can't tighten it any more.

You definitely won't have a problem getting a replacement from V4L, if necessary.

But if you want to give it a shot, you should try gml38's advice in post #4. It sounds like you maybe over tightened the battery and pushed the center post in so it is no longer making contact. If you pull it up just a hair, it will probably start working fine.

I order some new batteries one was a long awaited pink one, when I got it, it was acting just as you describe. I was so upset - I really wanted my pink battery!

I order from Rob at Good Prophets and he is great at customer service and has fast shipping, but I did not want to wait for a new battery to be sent out.

The tip I gave you came to me by Rob. Not only did it work on the pink battery but on two others I had sitting around that I thought had gone dead.

So please give it a try.

Welcome to the forum hersch!
your post is a little off topic for this thread, but that's ok :)
Gotta make your first post somewhere ;)

JK about the off-topic BTW. These threads go all over the place.

Edit: sorry, I guess it's not off topic for the thread, just the OP. I don't know how it got on cignot. The OP never said anything about them

Just call the phone # on the card that came in your kit and ask Mark to send you a new one,He just sends it right out,no problem.
