A New Canadian Vaper

Hey everyone!

I've been wanting to quit smoking - well not "wanting" but really needing to - as I've hit the dreaded pack a day bench mark. Like many on this site, I wanted something to replace my habit with rather than completely stop. After quite a bit of research and learning some of the terms, I finally purchased my first E-cig from Vapor4Life. I may have went a bit overboard with additional e-liquid and spare carts, but I figured "hey, I'm finally going to stop smoking so I'll treat myself." Everything was looking up for ol' Christer!

Of course out of all the research I did on the actual e-cig, it never occurred to me that these bad boys might be....let's say in a legal grey area up here in the Big Empty North. It's stunning to me that they'll put the health notices on cigarette packs and tell you how important it is to quit, but then just straight up outlaw e-cigs with a hint of nicotine. The waiting game begins to see if I get my package.

It's my first post so I just wanted to introduce myself with a bit of backstory. I really hope to join you guys soon in the vaping euphoria. I've had enough of analog and I'm really eager to start the next stage and I just hope my friendly government obliges on this one.

Cheers to all!

Hope the vape works for you. I have tried them, but cannot find anyone who sells a cartridge containing nicotine. They are illegal in Canada (so the Govt. can continue raking in the tax $$$ from real cigs). I cannot work any more because they have banned all cigarettes in the workplace. I worked in a steel fabrication plant, and smoked constantly while working. The workplace was so filled with welding smoke, I cannot understand why they banned smokes at work. You could wipe a table at work clean, and within 10 minutes there would be a 3 mm. thick layer of welding dust on it. And they ban a burning leaf. LOL! Of the staff of 12, all 12 smoked, so the ban is stupid. Nothing does the trick for me like a nice King-Size Pall Mall Bold. I am a nicotine addict, and need to have a smoke every 20-30 minutes at work. I think workplace bans on smoking should be taken to vote by the employees. This "Nanny State" is beyond belief in Canada. Can't smoke at work? I can't work for you! I NEED cigarettes!
