My first and second grade years I ate peanut butter and jelly for lunch. My mom tried to give me other stuff..but I traded or went without. She caught on when she had to clean egg salad out of my lunchbox..after it sat in the sun all day!

EWWWWWWWWWWWW lol with me it was just peanut butter...in a spoon...I wouldn't eat anything but for lunch. It was easy for mom...jar of pb and a spoon hehe

hmmmm any good pb vapes? (starts searching the net)

Oh no MK your poor mom and the egg salad. My daughter was the same way for a few years, only PB&J for lunch, nothing else. She just recently started wanting other things when she found out some of her friends are alergic to the peanut butter. They do seperate the kids but she has a better understanding of how serious it can be and she finally asked to try lunch meats. But no bologna.

Edited to add Nevada try PA's peanut butter it's more peanuty than lorann's but it's a stronger flavor. Lorann's is nice and sweet but not very strong at all. I'm vaping bannana and peanut butter right now. I was thinking of naming the recipe "love me tender", or some other Elvis song.

Tonight was family night, I picked up my little grandson after school. My son and daughter came over after work and had porkchops, stovetop stuffing, peas and also green beans (the son doesn't care for green beans, the daughter doesn't care for peas! LOL) Fried apples (canned), We also have salad with Julianned veggies. The Spice cake was a hit with the movie Tangled!
A plate was sent home for my big grandson who had a baseball game tonight.

That sounds so good Mark Kay. I used to eat a lot of pork chops as one of my favorites. I always did the same for my family for holiday feasts; cook everyone their favorite holiday side dish. LOL, sometimes we had three different types of potatoes. The only thing ppl fought over for the last bite were the creamy fruit salads. That was kind of my specialty.

Fish tonite for me as I had a disgustingly greasy ribeye steak last nite. I guess I can only do NY strip these days.

So fish, garlic spinach, asparagus and a salad. My dessert is always a good vape!

Love stopping by here. You ladies are "sawesome"!

PS to Mary Kay: I read one of your posts on another forum (think it was about struggling thru the process) and just wanted to say how much it sounded like my own story.

Today was a day of storms lightning strikes and tornados! Oh my!
Damage to daughters house (fairly minor), power outages at son's (lines and limbs down). Just leaves and moss down here..so every one came here for dinner. Tampa is a mess! My son made Spanish bean soup (garbonzo bean soup), my oldest grandon made cuban sandwiches and my little granson made a deep dish apple pie..with store made pie shells, and canned apple pie filling. He even added cinnamon, brushed the top with butter and learned how to crimp a crust!
