Welcome Cass :)

You've inherited a fine piece of equiptment. Reliable. I've had the complete opposite experience w/ Drew then you had "elsewhere". He went too far overboard to compensate me and I think you'll happy all around. He's a great guy to deal with and makes the best tasting juice I've found. & FAST on shipping.

The Xhaler is big & solid, but not heavy.. (compared to our itty bitty)
The enhanced flavor is a nice change w/ the big one (though I do like my tiny ones for public)

They're right about the batteries. These are the only ones I have that have their own charger right now... seperate from the multi, but that is a good thing. For a big batt mod, the LifePO4 is a much safer way to go anyway. If it's too much & you want to drop back to 3.7 the dummy spacer battery is very inexpensive.

Kick back, relax... and enjoy. It won't be long. I vividly remember my first WOW on the Xhaler. heehee.

I agree 100%

When you press the button on the Xhaler you complete the connection between the negative end of the batteries and the aluminum tube and that has a tendency to create a layer of Aluminum Oxide (Al2O3) which does not conduct electricity very well which means you have to push on the button really hard to make it work--if it works at all.

Ideal NOALOX Anti-Oxidant is a "joint compound" that helps remove/prevent aluminum oxidation at electrical connections which "fixes" the above problem. Simply apply a small amount of NOALOX (there's a couple of videos that can show you how, or I'm sure you can find someone to walk you through it if you are still unsure) to where the switch contacts the casing and at any other electrical "joint" and you'll find the Xhaler (or basically any PV, really) works as good or better than brand new.

The question then of course is where to get the Noalox in Ireland. In the US, Home Depot is a pretty reliable source since stores are popping up everywhere. I don't know what the equivalent store would be in your area, but I would expect to find it in any store that deals in electrical supplies.

If you can't find it locally, I am probably not the only person who'd be willing to lend a hand and get some to you even though shipping is likely to be more expensive than the NOALOX itself (less than $3 for a half-ounce tube which should last a good long time).

Good luck! I'm looking forward to your impressions of your new Xhaler. You'll soon be loving life in 5V! Did you get a 510 adapter?

Hi Thulium...it seems like only yesterday you were helping me pick a mod and also with so many other things like batteries etc....feel a bit silly arriving on your doorstep like this!!!thankyou for th enoalox info...im gonna look it up and see if i can find it somewhere...theres an arro very near me that sells all that stuff...never been in there(did ya guess!!!) but ill stop by tomorrow and check it out....also a friend( member here) who has an xhaler has sent me a lil noalox to keep me going til i find some...ill be repaying the favor in candy(or candy flavored liquid?)...heehee : o)

ona side note...trying to find a supplier of tenergy battery charger and from battery junction its $40 shipped so i looked it up and up popped "camera battery" in google...so im in a shopping centre today and go into their camera store asking for a tenergy rcr123a charger...got some crazy looks and the guy says these batteries are only for house alarms and such and has never heard of rechargeable ones...kinda got shoved outta the store like i was looking for battery porn....quite amusing for my boyfriend....i didnt have the guts to tell him it was for my ecig:oops:

so im off to find one on ebay perhaps?any other suggestions for international sellers?drew suggested batteryjunction but shipping is just way too high...if all else fails ill ask drew again i guess:oops:

thanks guys....im off to figure out why rcr123a batteries are the bad boys of the battery industry...haha : o)
