Around 6 months back i had bought my first e-cig but after a month or so lost it (( two weeks back bought another one, same like the first a 510L and also a 901, after smoking the 510L for around a week i noticed it took a stronger pull to light it up. I had a few problems with fluid getting into the battery so and had to clean it thoroughly. And after two days of using my 901 i again noticed that it needed a stronger pull to light it up. I was used to the slow long draw to fill my mouth with vapour and taking it into my lungs at one go for the throat it but this is starting to bother me a bit.

So i was thinking, is this a problem only with me or with others? And oh, i usually cover the air inlet on the atomizer with my finger to get a more concentrated vapor.

Thanks for the help and regards )) :vapor:

This is a common problem with auto batteries. Manual batteries are inherently more reliable than autos because of the manual switch and the sealed nature of the manual battery. Most people change to manual after trying the auto batts. juice gets into the air hole and finds its way to the switch, gumming it up and making it a pain to deal with.

Order a couple of eGo-T batteries and a charger and you will be much happier. They will last you several times longer between charges and give you reliability much higher than the auto. They also have the 5 click on-off feature that allows you to sit down with it in your pants pocket an not worry about the switch being accidentally pushed.

Get or make yourself a basic box mod. Here are a couple of videos by Garry Dibley on how to make them (find parts 2 and 3 in related links): Garry Dibley Box Mod PT 1 (Making Your Own Mod Instructions) - YouTube
You could also order one pretty cheaply for import if you can find the batteries locally (customs sometimes take issue with shipping those). Box mods may not generally be as pretty as something like the Ego but they get the job done and are easy to fix if a problem develops, plus they are often cheaper to run too.

As others have stated, the models you have are not very good. Remember this:

Rule of Thumb: the more it looks like the real thing, the worse the performance.

You definitely need a bigger/better battery model to avoid the problem you are having and definitely manual batteries.

If a UK site/supplier would be easier for you to order from, then I would suggest you look at Liberty Flights and get either the Riva 510 or one of their 5 volt box modes. They are well supported and reputable. They also accept PayPal. Here is their site:
