I'm sorry of this is a stupid question, but I am confused...

I have a legacy and have been thinking about getting the extension sleeve and a kick.

Is there any difference between the used kicks selling in the classifieds for $50+, and the new ones sold at the vendors for $45? Are they imitation ones made by a different manufacturer or something?

I'm not trying to insinuate anything, or start any trouble, I'm just a new vaper trying to figure out what is what. There are so many things I am learning, it's hard to keep up with it all at times... and I'm not exactly known for being the sharpest tool in the box.

Thanks!

i dont know anything about that but it sounds shady to me.

if i were you i would just stick with a loyal and trustworthy vendor. i actually just got my kick today a few hours ago from Nhaler.com

i put it in my telescope and this thing is completely transformed. my provari is already beginning to feel lonely. im just worried these 18350s arnt going to hold that much of a charge for me.

There is no such thing as an imitation Kick, its more a case of greed by those who sell above retail or they include shipping with their price. Also the Legacy with a kick is awesome, I'm using the 18490 AW IMR with the kick in mine and I just love it, If Puresmoker would ship to Canada I would love to get the extension sleeve to use an 18650 since I go through an 18490 in like 3 hours of medium-heavy vaping at 8.5 watts.

Enjoy the sleeve and the kick mate :)

(just realized this is my 500th post o_O )

The only difference is people mark them up on the classifieds when they aren't in stock at normal retailers, which has been most of the time. Frankly I think its a shady move to sell something for more than original in used condition just because you cant easily get it. I was burned on one Kick I bought there, and I cant even blame the seller as they got it on another trade and didnt want it and never checked it.. at least Evolv was awesome and replaced it.

bottom line, if you can buy it from a vendor that has it in stock always do that first. There is a lot of price gouging going on on the classifieds and its shameful in my opinion. used is used and should be less ;)

Puresmoker show in stock right now.......I know.......I went and checked and ordered it as soon as I read this thread;)

Maybe it's just me but the Kick is an electronic device and I personally just feel so much better buying it brand new instead of used.

I am also concerned about the battery life, I use the ole Provari all day but got the kick to go in the Legacy mini since it is my bullet-proof/will not break backup. Any ideas on battery life with an 18350?

And hooray for folks still buying/using Puresmoker stuff!!! sweet mechanical mods with all the high end features without the "status-sysmbol" price;)

the Kick by evolve at Super-T manufacturing Kick2.jpg
Super T Manufacturing, Innovative manufacturer of electronic cigarette products.. They also have a great new device to put your kick in (the kicklet" and it attaches to most MODs separately for ease of switching between MODs and ease of adjusting without having to take MOD apart.
The kick is made to adjust your wattage to the type of vape you like and enables you to have a constant output from your batteries without the falling off that is normal. Example when you charge most batteries that are 3.7 volts the reading is usually about 4.0 to 4.2. Thats when you get the best vape performance. It also adjusts your out put so that it doesnt matter what ohms carto/atty you use, it wil be the same performance. Now, you battery life will shorten depending on how high you set it at.
I like a slightl warm vape, not hot so I set it at a tad less than 8 watts and I get an output of 4.25 volts. Also, it is suggested you only use IMR( high drain batteries) and sometimes depending on your mod the manufacturer suggests using those tiny battery magnets to make better contact.
