Baby steps here. Some of us *ahem* "mature" folks are set in our ways and not very open to change. Talk to her first to determine if she is willing to at least try something new. If so, start off with a Joye 510 battery and cartomizer. Old technology yes, but it is closer to the look and feel of an analog than the newer hardware, and that could be a good way to transition to vaping. If she really gets into it, she could always upgrade later to an Ego or something else more modern. Or she may be comfortable just sticking with the 510. Either way, it's all about what works for her.

As for juice, if she is willing to try vaping, ask her what flavors she thinks she might like. Not just tobacco, but maybe a fruit, candy, chocolate or whatever. Then get her a sample pack containing her preferences and go from there.

Whatever you do, as others have pointed out, don't push her on this. It won't work out if she feels vaping is being "forced" on her. Let it be her decision. Be encouraging and helpful, but know when to back off if she is not interested.
