A real smoker doesn't want a strawberry flavored substitute

Seriously? How can they tell if a signature is that of an adult when the purchase is made online? Whatever! I was a "real" smoker for 25 years, and HATED the taste and smell of analogs.

Now, that I am an avid vaper, I absolutely ADORE the fact that I have a myriad of flavor options available to me, which are the furthest thing from a tobacco flavor.

I mean, who doesn't want all flavor of a blueberry/caramel cheesecake, WITHOUT the caloric guilt, and a nicotine fix to boot?

These people can just blow their smoke-flavored nastiness up their whazoos. Just sayin' :D

That is so patently ridiculous.

I started smoking when I was 15, I'm 39, and I smoked 2 PaD. Tonight is my 3 week analog-free anniversary. Sweeter Mint from All About Vapors is my favorite. And I didn't think it would be.

When I tried to switch, I thought "OMG, I am so never going to want one of those foo foo candy sugary flavor things. Ugh. What garbage. Give me tobacco flavor or nothing." I spent lots of money on 9 different tobacco e-juices.

I hated every. single. one. I never thought I, devoted smoker that I was and resentful quitter that I was, would ever be smoking something that tasted like Trident gum. But here I am.

Ugh. A smoker wants a cigarette. A vaper? Altogether different wants, I'm finding.

All over the place
I kind of used to be a purist snob when I smoked, and still have those tendencies. I thought my brand, American Spirits Blue, was the pinnacle of smoking. Even now when I am driving and see someone smoking in their car with the windows rolled up, I gasp, forgetting I occasionally did that same thing. I guess at the end of the night we have all been there, in one way or another. I was a proud smoker, but now I don't even care a little bit about what a "real smoker" thinks or does, because now I AM A REAL VAPER!

"Our purpose is to help our customers satisfy or reduce their nicotine intake while also eliminating harmful chemicals. My ideal world would be one in which Green Nicotine is no longer necessary and we have to close our doors because all of our customers no longer need our product. It isn't about turning a profit for me. It's about improving lives that have been damaged by traditional tobacco use."

HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! What a load of BULL!!!! Great business model!

I agree that real smokers can't even taste strawberry! I used to smoke Camel Light Menthols or Marlboro Light Menthols and when I started vaping, I couldn't taste the other flavors. After a little over 2 weeks of vaping exclusively, I am able to enjoy many flavors.

Happy Vaping! :vapor:

Companies like GREEN and other smaller e-cig companies have formed their own trade organization: (TVECA) Tobacco Vapor Electronic Cigarette Association
They are gearing up to bend over backwards to what they speculate will be the new FDA direction for e-cigs.

In a way they are "helping" the FDA come to their conclusions quicker. Of course, they have no desire to help other vapers- they only care about their bottom line ($$). And their conclusions and often out-spoken comments sound as if they speak for the entire vaping community- including us. :(

I say, stand tall- vape what you want, even it it's crab meat flavor if this keeps you off of analogs and use a big as you want PV (TVECA doesn't recognize these either) if it works for you.

We so desperately need an ECF Trade Group organization (or similar- but with a heffty membership) to shape our own direction in the vaping industry. (This of course is different that CASAA- we need them too and to work hand and hand with them!!!)

Btw, can you believe what a membership to TVECA runs? Check it out- and many little e-cig companies are joining this blindly- This is sad since the pen-style e-cigs with disposable carts are the standard- this is what 95% of all vapers out there use- they know no better and unlike me or you (who probably started with these), they apparently have not come to the conclusion that the concept is great but there has to be better/cheaper devices out there.

Correction- Could have sworn that Green Nic was part of TVECA but apparently not- still doesn't change things that many companies that proport the pen style e-cigs w/ carts as the only true e-cig (limiting flavors, nic levels and mods) are speaking out for the community as a whole and put-on as if they ARE the community. As I said earlier- we need our own Trade Organization in a bad way!!!

Blu cigs came up with a clever idea. Their two new flavors are named after alcoholic beverages: Pina Colada and Peach Schnapps. Maybe all vendors should be thinking up adult-sounding names for their flavors.

The Strawberry flavored liquid can easily be renamed Strawberrry Daiquari.

Peach is one of my favorite flavors, and so is blackberry. My other favorite flavor could be named Blackberry Brandy, no?

I don't in any way, consider e-cigs a "substitute". I consider a completely different realm. They are a hobby, a timesink, a joy. Cigarettes were something I did out of habit. I didn't care what I smoked, where I smoked or how, just that I did. With e-cigs. I like how certain ones look, I like modding, I like tweaking and getting new gear. It's a joy.

So a strawberry juice to me isn't a substitute, it's an alternative and a better alternative at that.
