Kudos to Traver for this find. Jonathan Foulds reviewed Dr. Seigel's survey on WebMD and there is a poll posted, as well as ability to comment. You do need to register.

"electronic cigarette study": Smoking Cessation Community - Support Group@

So far the poll results are:
Poll Results

If you have tried to use an e-cigarette to stop smoking at least a month ago, are have you smoked any cigarettes or used any tobacco in the past 7 days?
  • Yes, I smoked a cigarette or used tobacco in the past week

    5% (1)
  • No, I have not smoked or used tobacco in the past week

    95% (18)

Bump the OP, it takes a little bit to find the link and some of us are ADHD!

Just use w543w5gtwe54tgw as your name. (smash face on keyboard, LOL) You probably won't go back there again, right?

I think it may be worth maintaining a presence on WebMD. i don't know how many viewers the smoking cessation community part gets but on a site that gets 50 million viewers a month it could be substantial. Since they allow any registered user to start one we should take advantage of it.

Agreed. I've been a member for about a year and check in on the Smoking Cessation section about every month. When someone comes on and asks about using a PV to stop smoking, the WebMd staff trots out the FDA warning and pretty much scares people away from it. With this latest post/poll by their Phd part time expert, maybe that will start to change. We need to keep an eye on this web site. However, it is my understanding that WebMD gets funding from Big Pharm which could kill any steps toward logical thinking on the topic of vaping.
