This has to be one of the most entertaining forums out there, just because of the assortment of characters here!

FYI, I'm one of the guys that only owns the penstyles.

I own 3 njoy atomizers, 3 NJOY batteries, 3 of Meltrix' white atomizers, 2 Meltrix white batteries.

(So it's like owning 3 black ecigs & 2 generic white ones.)

I take one of each to work with me everyday. The NJOYs have a little more kick for me, so I load it with a high-nic cartridge & use it sparingly--at lunchtime, and for a "smoking break" around 2:30pm, where I sneak downstairs to my former smoking-hideout in our underground garage...ah, nothing like a sneaked smoke!

But I use Meltrix generic cig with an apple or vanilla cartridge for "puffin' around with" at my desk.

After 28 years of 20+ cigs a day, I gave them up entirely within the first week of using this handy little device & I honestly can't imagine going back to cigs. (What's ironic is, I had no intention of quitting my habit completely, I was just hoping to cut down!)

If someone had told me ONE MONTH AGO that I'd be giving up cigarettes within a month with virtually no withdrawl pangs, I would've laughed and blown secondhand smoke in their face. I still can't believe it.

Finally, like devilfish--I AM worried I'm smokin' more too. It's too easy to sit on my lazy ... at my desk and puff happily away on apple vapor!

I am STILL trying to decide whether this is a good or bad thing...

:oops:This is what the same feeling u have like mine
:Dgee u still can go to ur company smoking area and smoke?Ur fellow collegues or strangers smokers got stare at u smoking this toy?Somemore it don;t always constant produce thick smoke like real cigarette and ppl thought u are noob on smoking also..or trying to be funny smoking on a pen .

for my case I always got the urge to move out of my office to my smoking areas to see babes haha but now sit in office also can smoke it really prevent me going out ..I feel I more lazy not physically moved !But I do always do some gym but just don;t feel energetic in office because is smoking that make me feel energetic go move my ... from my desk and walk to my smoking area...I treat the walking as excerise too .walking fast on pace to my hell ....

now I just sit in office e smoke ..feel like kinda gulity never move :D

BUT Apachedug??U still smoke real cigarette?
for my case I maybe woest than u ! ..I do smoke couple of sticks + constant e smoke

I wonder now is it I more hooked on smoking .

That's something I can't deny. Part of my obsession with these things is just an extension of my obsession with gadgets and toys. And having a bunch does indeed make judging longevity harder.

But then, I've never reccomended that anyone should rely on just one e-cig, no matter what kind it is. I've always said you should have 2 or 3 at least. And extra parts, too. But everyone has to start with their first, and take it one at a time.

For hobbiests like us that's ok, but you are right that won't work for the mass market. Maybe Bob's right and LT or GC are the future.

But yeah, I'll admit they're toys for me. So what? With cigarettes there were novelty lighters, cigarette cases, ashtrays, and so on. I've always gotten plenty of toy value out of my smoking habit. Mos of my souveniers since I started smoking were smoking paraphinalia.

Life's a game, and the winner is the one who dies with the most toys! :D

;)presently I got two set of penstyle same model dsc801
+ two atomiser...

if I attact to my extra battery give I can have 4 complete penstyle .

but I don;t know how it will last ....still got the urge to smoke real stuffs:D

Devilfish, I haven't smoked a single 'real' cigarette since July 3 2008. This is my 22nd day with no tobacco and I'm doing just fine! :)
:thumb:u go will power

for me ....is self confident here ..maybe also is my penstyle
too "Attention seeker ":Dif I use to smoke in public where there is many ppl and + alot of smokers.

that why I do some real stuffs ...but maybe indose with constant nictoine cos I keep epuffing whenever I am at home or inside office on my desk

thus seem like automatic my usage of real cigarette is cut down

my last pack I brought is on monday ..till now ..saturday my local time here left 6 sticks ..

usually I smoke one pack or one and half for 1.5 days

D'Fish... I've been smoking for ~45 years and as soon as I started eSmoking, I went almost immediately from about 25 cigs a day to 3~5 a day.

Can't seem to kick the last few cigs though.

I smoked Ultra Light cigs and the way I look at it is as if I were making the change from a full flavor cig to an Ultra Light again and it is just a matter of replacing one strength/flavor with another.

It takes time slick, just hang in there and LET it happen, don't force it.

I love words that mean different things to Americans and Brits - means I can get a sneaky wind up in (Janet, that's nothing to do with clocks!)

Hey Emp, it would appear there are some things neither of us are able to do (US/UK), only different reasons for failure.

For instance, neither of us is able to light a ... with a torch.

Simply a play on words folks, no disrespect intended for those of you that have a rather thin skin.
