I been on this forum since sept. last year. I used to smoke 5 packs of kools a day, I will be a year cig free in a few days.
Passion rules my company. I was retired, but, when I quit with ecigs, after trying EVERYTHING known in USA I was passionate about finding the best analog substitute. I found it with My Vapor King.
I decided to make the absolute best, I do, I continue too, and I treat my customers like GOLD. I want my customers to vape, not smoke.
I want my customers to stop vaping, and just be friends...
Nice post Steve. Enjoyed the background info and always enjoy hearing your passion for customer service.

..soon you will be able to have with only 1 logo on top.
Somehow I knew a few requests would make it happen. ;)

I had some 600 grit sandpaper (very fine) and tried it on a logo or two. It quickly took the logo off and left the battery surface smooth.

I'm about to make my long one the same silver as the little one I done. I prefer it this way, the vinyl damn sure stuck good but I managed to get it off and not a scratch on the original battery or logos. I'm a woman so being able to change my favorite batteries look with my mood? Hell yes, I'm in heaven :D

Well so far the only option I've received is the "super sale" where I won't have a clue what battery color I will get (I don't think they are manual either), or what flavor cartridge. With my luck I'd end up with blueberry, raspberry and orange, all of which I am very allergic to lol.

For those wondering, here is why I started this in the first place:
The massive (amounts of) logos on the VK items can weaken or violate my performance persona.
If it risks violating the persona, it is a complete deal breaker.
I will do anything and everything in my power to protect my performance persona, to remain the best fire breathing performer in Portland, possibly even the West Coast (according to some), up to and including not purchasing a product that has images/logos on it that do not fit this persona. It would be akin to going to a wedding in a GIT-R-DONE t-shirt. No offense to the rednecks. (Or should I say my people? ;))

However, it is MY persona I am protecting and I do not really expect anyone to jump through hoops to earn/receive my business. I'm not entirely jaded (yet). I just wanted to know what options there were for me regarding kr808s/VK. You have all done very well to answer the questions I originally presented and even to come up with ideas I wouldn't have even thought of on my own. For this, I thank you all. Now I guess it is just time to step back and weight the options.

The vinyl idea didn't sound too bad, where does one find the necessary supplies for this? I just finished looking at Target, Office Max, Office Depot and Michaels Arts & Crafts websites. There was nothing to be found other than wall-paper "hipster" designs.
It is almost sounding like a large investment of its own to try the vinyl.
I hope it isn't since if it is inexpensive and easy, it sounds like the best route to go.

Sorry for the novel. When my fingers touch a keyboard, it is like a dam breaking. Well, when I am not too sick to type.

We get our vinyl from JSI Signs, or we did. It was very inexpensive and there was a LOT of colors to choose from.
If the vinyl is the only deal breaker here, I love the VK and swear by it, I have blue, red, black, white, silver, pink and gold. I'd be more than happy to send you enough to try do it yourself if you want to PM me :)

Well with the settle-all-issues offer from Ghetto_Cowgirl, I've ordered myself the manual ultimate ultimatum kit with (hopefully delicious) 24mg coconut cartomizers.
My 510 with 12mg fluid dropped me from nearly 2 packs a day to 1/2 a pack a day. Hopefully with the lack of annoying top offs and a stronger juice, this will be dropped even further. (I sure know I can't really afford to buy many more analogs this month after tonight lol).
Thanks again to everyone who posted their comments and information.
Special thanks to Ghetto_Cowgirl for solving one of lifes great dilemmas.
Now I wait. I'll be sure to update somewhere or other with what I think of the VK performance when it comes in.

Did it leave the color under the logo intact also?
We have white batteries and if you look really close, you can see a slight difference in the whiteness of sanded areas, vs. the original. Sanding also removes the horizontal lines along with the logo. It also depends on your touch with the sand paper. If you're willing to take a little longer and use a lighter touch, you'll remove less of the battery color. I can see scratch marks under a magnifying glass, and if your eyes are good and young you may see them with the naked eye, but you'd have to look close.

You can also use steel wool for logo removal. Like sandpaper, there are different grades. I tried 0000 steel wool, which is the finest grade (least abrasive) you can get. It works too, but takes a lot more rubbing, and personally I don't think it's worth the trouble. It may be worthwhile (if you're picky) to wrap the steel wool around the battery after logo removal and polish off the scratch marks. I haven't tried that, and it could remove more of the base battery color too. I think it's just a matter of how much you care how it looks with a close up inspection.

Under the logo the battery should be a nice Stainless steel color. I have heard or a few others over time having the finish wear off and the batteries still look nice.
This is a good option for a complete removal. It would be easier on the auto batteries, since on the manuals you'd have to work around the button. From the little experimenting I did (only removed a few logos on the bottom of one bat), I'd say it would take a whole lot of sanding to completely remove the color. Probably a job for a power sander. A Dremel type tool would be a good option.
