A Starbucks Vaping Story

Yesterday I sat in a Starbucks for a while just waitng for my beverage to be ready .
Then I decided to sit and enjoy, I was sitting agains the wall if you will directly in front
of the service counter cash register.
Know what I did; just for the sake of it.
Yup I stealth vaped, the employees were looking
as I put my pv in my mouth in anticipation...lol
As some people were waiting for their beverages
were wating for their drinks giving me a curious look.
I finally went outside sat for a bit where I continued to stealth.
No incident what so ever.
We can do what we do, its all in how
we do it

For the last four years I have stealth vaped everyone I feel like doing so...
--Movie theaters
--Concerts and plays
--Airplanes
--Restaurants
--Baseball games
--Football games

I have not once, ever, been noticed.
It's not hard to do.

I know it isn't but for me being new, its kind of like making a statement especially when eyes are kind of
upon you.
I have stealthed in a theatre as well.

sorry, I don't get it. when you smoked did you light up in starbucks? or in a movie theatre? no, you went about your business and smoked when and where you could and guess what? you were ok. trying to sneak a vape sounds like you are a vaping "junkie". can't wait the few minutes it takes to order a coffee and go elsewhere? you are either hopelessly addicted to nicotine or something else is going on here. " i'll show them"! starbucks and others are private businesses and if they don't want you vaping then don't vape- we have to educate and change minds but sneaking a vape is only going to reinforce their belief that we are doing something wrong. it sounds something a kid would do

I think that it's all about technique and location. Would I stealth vape at Chuck-e-Cheese or a playground? No. Wouldn't want to set an example for kids. Starbucks, by the entrance with a bunch of adults around? Yes.. discreetly, without any hesitation.

As long as you are respectful and don't blow plumes of vapor, nobody really cares or notices. People catch on and look the other way once they notice that there is no spoke. I don't think that it's a big deal unless we make it one.

Many college campuses are 'smoke free' now, and as far as I see it.....I'm not smoking!

What delivery device were you using? I ask because I doubt the vapor from my Kayfuns or Ithaka would go unnoticed.

Now I was never an English major but I believe what you have described is almost the complete opposite of "stealth". I could be wrong though, let me take a quick looksee...

I wasn't sneaking at all....
Wasn't exhaling plumes of vapor.
Being that I violated no laws how is that wrong?

Do you drink alcohol?

Well, I do, and when I do I will either smoke or I will vape.
That is just the way my life works.


So I used to have to leave wherever I was having a drink to go out and have a smoke.
Now I stealth vape instead.

But maybe you don't drink, so yeah, I guess...

Nobody should stealth vape on a college campus, when vaping is not allowed ANYWHERE on that campus?
Or for that matter, when vaping is not allowed on the beach?
