They were Maddcatt Vanilla Custard and Green Peach Tea. They have coupon codes and text things...pretty sure the info is on their home page. For TPR it's Honey Fig tobacco and I've had both Banana pudding/cream pie and the cinnamon danish. Both of those are very good but I've kind of moved away from dessert vapes for the time being and getting more into light tobaccos.

I'm with you on the cilantro, never had it taste soapy, just super sharp and potent. The point was there are just so many variables in trying to get a liquid that doesn't have the soapy thing going on. The flavorings, the vendors, your taste receptors...yet another reason I make my own for the most part. If it tastes bad I know it was my own fault. lol

Good info glasseye, thanks. I agree on the hard search for non-soapy VG. I really need at least a 50/50 because my lungs are really getting tired of PG and are hurting sometimes to let me know. I have some Kosher VG that I got from Amazon that I use to cut my 100%PG menthols when I get the lung problems but I would like to be able to order a flavored VG blend from a vendor and not have to worry about the soapiness or have to steep it for three months before I can vape it.

Not that I know of. The owner of Ahlusion is apparently both a chemist and a chef and has extensive equipment to do extractions. I DIY exclusively, except for one beloved juice that you would no doubt find overpoweringly perfumey, that's kind of essential to its flavor.
I have had a couple of Ahlusion juices that I really enjoyed though, Cardamom Cha Yen, Pomegranate Tea.
I know that Ahlusion will work with a customer to create a liquid that is right for them. You should consider emailing them in regard to your reaction to their base. They are pretty customer service oriented, I wouldn't be surprised if they'd consider using a different base for you. You could definitely ask them whether they use alcohol in any of their extractions, which you would probably want to steer clear of. Also, I think if you're palate is that sensitive, you would want to steer clear of sweetened flavors whenever possible. Adding either of the standard sweeteners is adding chemicals you may not enjoy.
I am not a super taster, by the scientific definition, (there's a simple test you can take if you want to know if you're actually a super taster, just google it), but I have a pretty refined palate, I'm a professional chef. I do not sweeten the majority of my juices as I find the flavorings sweet enough on their own. I also don't vape any bakery, dessert or creamy flavors because I find them strange and unpleasantly artificial.
To circle back to my original point, the fewer ingredients you have in a liquid, the less there is to dislike or react to, hence a place simply using pg or vg and say an actual pomegranate to create pomegranate flavoring will narrow out so many ingredients in most liquids that you may be having problems with.

I haven't tried Ahlusion yet but I will based on your recommendation. It was Miarose that said she had problems with their base.

Yah. I don't think I'm a super taster, just very sensitive to chemical/additive like things. This goes for food and body products for me as well. Ahlusion is great. The flavors are unique. There is just something in their base that hurts my mouth. I've encountered similar issues in a few other vendors juices. So I truly don't believe its their juices, but rather some sort of reaction I happen to have to it.
But, no soap, floral, chemical or alcohol tastes in it ;)

I love Ahlusion. I have at least 17 or 18 of their flavors. They do not use diacetyl or its substitutes. They do not use cinnamon. They have a line of presteeped juice named their Xpress line. Wlad does his own extractions and he profiles juices to your tastes on reorders. Top notch. Love their Caramel Pear Black Tea and Smooth Criminal (a tobacco).

I also love The Plume Room. Very well made juice with no chemical flavors to me. Love their Honey Fig tobacco and Banana Pudding.

Mountain Oak Vapor is also a very good juice maker. No chemical or soapy taste there for me.

I have trouble vaping high vg juices. Gives me a heavy feeling in my lungs. 50/50 or higher pg.

I can not vape Virgin Vapor; I tried a couple and can not get past a nasty chemical taste. Do not like bases used in MBV and HDV or Deejstuff or an Apollo cappuccino I tried.

Hey radicalchuu, thanks for your post. You are definitely not alone, I thought I was too until not too long ago when someone told me on another thread that I was probably a supertaster like he was and things finally started to make sense (not that it felt any better but at least it made sense lol). Really good to know about the peanut butter liquid. Someone else told me to look for nutty flavors and I've been looking but I completely passed over peanut butter because I would never eat it without jelly. I'm willing to give it a try though. When you get yours from HDV do you get the regular or organic and what options do you get (PG/VG, extra shots, etc)?
Have you tried the HDV Peanut Butter Cup liquid?
I've never ordered from MBV because I hate a lot of options. What options did you get for the Banana Cream Pie?

Peanut Butter has a smooth, consistent taste for me; sometimes my taste buds are too used to it, but other times (especially in the mornings/late at night when I haven't eaten for a few hours) I'll notice that slightly sweet, weighted taste, which is what I enjoy :) i tried mixing peanut butter with both grape and strawberry juice from EVC once, and no matter how thin I mixed the fruit taste with it the fruit seemed to be too loud for me against the peanut butter; not enough nuttyness for me haha! I haven't tried the organic options yet, might in the future (especially reading the recent posts about what gives off those tastes; i always thought it was bad flavoring extracts or something haha). My usual base for liquids is 80% VG and 20% PG (i always have a 50/50 around for when I want to gently break in a new threading for my nova because of how finicky they can be with that thick VG base and dry hitting haha) and for the past couple months I've been adding a flavor shot or two into my peanut butter (because flavor is distilled in PG, not VG, it's not as vapor producing, but it tastes a little stronger; don't like TH that much though, so that's the downside haha). I tried HDV's peanut butter cup, and it was okay, but again the chocolate has that aftertaste; I might see if they have an organic option for it now, because now I'm interested in trying it out with my order next month :)
I love a lot of options, which is why a lot of vendors are out of my preferences; there are a lot of vendors that have a set amount of pg/vg that you cannot choose from, you just take what you get because it's THEIR brew.... I don't like TH, unlike a lot of other people out there, because I had a condition that made my throat/stomach permanently damaged/sensitive; I prefer as much vapor production and smooth taste as I can (something about the exhale that just excites me so much LOL) With MBV's banana cream pie, because that's my man's vape, I usually get him a 50/50, but lately he's been asking for an 80/20 like what I do; I steal some of it every now and then because a tank with 10-20% banana cream pie + the rest peanut butter together is.... amazing. Ha.

Really good information radicalchuu, thanx! See what you did, now I gotta get some MBV banana cream and some HDV peanut butter so I can try that mix. It just sounds too good!:)

Between this and the other thread I have going right now my juice budget is gonna be ridiculous this month lol.

Thanks ShariR! I'm getting mostly good feedback on Ahlusion, definitely a must try. I'll add Mountain Oak Vapor to the list.

I liked the premise of this thread… it got a good dialogue going, but… most of the recommendations are pretty inappropriate for real super tasters…
I am not even a true super taster and I can't fathom a true super taster vaping half of the suggested juices…

I've thrown out or sold or pif'ed many of the suggested juices because they were wayyyy too strong/perfumey for me.

some vendors cater more to the sensitive palate, but it's more a matter of specific juices…

Don from BWB started bwb because he was so sensitive to overpowering juices… he has a handful of highly flavored juices, but many are light and easy to vape for sensitive palates…

same with want2vape…

outside of these two vendors, it comes down to specific juices for me…

as rebgold suggests, I often ask a vendor to tone it down for me… vendors that have done that for me include: vaporbomb, ahlusion, moondrop, primevaping, goodejuice

Thanks a lot for the input lasttango. My original hope would be that only real supertasters would contribute to this thread, making the list more valid. I've tried to only add vendors that are suggested by people who acknowledge that they are supertasters and have tried at least 5 liquids from the vendor that they suggest. I'm trying to take suggestive taste into account and delete vendors with more than one complaint. It's the best that I can do without trying 5 liquids from each of them myself.

I have read a lot of your posts though and do respect your opinion so I'm adding BWB and want2vape to the list.

Just wanted to say, got my order from EVC today; put them on the list! I ordered a white chocolate, a rock candy and a caramel from them and no chemical taste so far on my vivi nova. Usually it's right off the bat with most other places when it comes to anything chocolate or vanilla, but this white chocolate tastes just how it's supposed to!
Electronic E Cigarette | Joye | Dekang | Kanger | Smoktech | Innokin | EVcigarettes | Electric Vapor Cigarettes LLC
(i don't know about getting their hardware per say, it's not bad I just know that their Vivi Novas aren't VISION brands)

While this is a nice idea for a thread, it just turns into everyone listing their favorite vendors. I'm also not convinced that just because one person tastes something weird and perfumey in a certain liquid means that someone else will also taste it. You're never going to get 100% consensus on something as subjective as "did anything taste weird?"

Of the vendors listed here, I'll make a few comments:

Heather's Heavenly Vapes - I found a lot of their fruit flavors way too perfumey. Peach being the biggest offender of the ones I've tried.

Fuzion Vapor - I like this vendor and order from them, but some flavors definitely do have an off taste. Ectoplasm and Hodouken both occasionally have a slight Windex taste to me.

Highbrow - My favorite vendor and the one with the most "good" juices I've tried. But it would be a mistake to say their juices never have off tastes. Most of their juices require 2 weeks or more of steeping to get rid of the off tastes and I've also come across the issue with their coconut. I tried their coconut in a B&M and it was the most amazing coconut ever. However, the bottle I bought had some weird off tastes and even a month later there's still some kind of off taste there. I don't know if it's an issue with a bad batch or what.

Many people steep their juices to get rid of weird tastes. So to even start to make this list you would have to set some kind of limit or require no steeping at all. Which just wouldn't work with the way the e-liquid stores are set up right now.

Moon Mountain Vapors juices are clean and light, right from the mailbox. Never had to steep one and I've tried half of their selection. That's not to say all their flavors were for me, but they dont have that soapy windex taste, whether tobacco or fruity flavors.
Their service is excellent although order-to-door time has increased since they've grown.

S & S mods Grumpy's Hooch is my favorite juice. I've tried a lot of different vendors...always end up back to the Hooch. It's a must to try this one, I don't think you will be disappointed.

Thanks Aldridge! Have you tried any of their other flavors?

Excellent points Oxtail. How about if I ask whoever is posting before I add a vendor to the list whether the liquids from that particular vendor are good unsteeped or if they need steeping for how long?

Thanks for the info on HHV and FV. Did any of their off flavor liquids improve after steeping?

I agree. While I'm not one of those super sensitive "super tasters" I do have a strong aversion to what i perceive as chemical tasting juice. Some of the ones I've seen mentioned are very chemical to me, but then again e liquid tastes are one of the most subjective things it seems, like art work or music. was Andy Warhol's art some of the most important/innovative art of all time or complete crap? You'll find a lot of views either way

Enough general consensuses can help, but when it comes down to it, you just have to do some research, try a few things, based on that try a few other things, etc, until you get a handle of what works what for you. BUT the thread can still be valuable because there are some good suggestions too, and it can help.
