I've been vaping for almost a full year. Gradually my TH has decreased. Then, 2 weeks ago...no TH from any of my usual juices and setups.

I was using eGo batteries with LR cartos (Boge 2.0 cartos and also Health Cabin 1.5 dual coil cartos). I used to think I was getting defective cartos because sometimes I'd get a great TH, but most often...none at all.
I have even tried dripping into LR attys...I got light headed, but never any TH from dripping...ever.

I have been using 80/20 juice (occassionally 75/25 or 50/50 because that's all the vendor had, but mostly 80/20), and even 100% PG juice. Nicotine strength-I started at 18mg and am now using 24mg.

Thinking my eGo batteries were getting tired, or maybe I just could use a little more volatge, I recently bought a KGO kit...seemingly $50 down the tubes...I thought since it put out more power than the eGo I'd find my TH again...no luck. I used it with my Health Cabin 1.5 LR cartos....it's like breathing air.

What can I do? It's like my body built up an immunity to the sensation.

Is it worth it to buy a 6V mod? Will that do it? Will I "get used to that" too? Please...somebody....anybody....help me:confused:

I thank you in advance.

Probably the first thing to fix if you get no 'hit' is the power. The eGo types are better than the cigarette-clones for power, simply because the battery is bigger and there is less voltage drop - but you still don't get full power, as a 1.5 amp draw off these tiny batteries is just too much. Going to a big battery therefore increases the power, even at the same voltage.

Any mod that uses an 18650 battery will deliver full power, and at 4 volts as well (they come off charge at 4.2v), so it will be at least 25% stronger than an eGo type. In theory an AW IMR 18650 is the best choice. Another alternative is a 5 volt mod of any kind.

However if cash is short, something like a Madvapes VV boxmod is probably a good bet. They're cheap and work fine. Set it to 4 volts with LR stuff and work up from there. However you'll need to buy two sets of batteries and a charger.

Once you have enough power, and it passes the HCOTRCV test - Huge Clouds Of Thick, Rich, Creamy Vapor - then problems start to melt away. The main advantage of small e-cigs (and by that I mean large-format types as well as the minis) is they fit in a shirt pocket, and won't get you too many strange looks when out & about. Most can work well enough, but there are many combinations of battery and end fitting that just don't deliver the goods.

A higher voltage or a VV PV with varying atties/cartos may help as might changing or trying completely different flavors of juices - straight tobaccos, menthols or strong coffee flavors work best for me for TH as did going VV with different setups. The Everclear works - I just didn't care for it, personally (flavor-wise).

I completely understand about the hitting a wall thing / immunity to the sensation - been there, done that. Still working on it...:)
