So, the flavor I'm smoking is ok, but I'm kind of over it for the time, and want to change. I'm using a ceramic wick, and the coil is really good, and I don't wish to change it if it's still working fine, so I was wondering, if I could just remove the eliquid and if there was a way to clean it without removing the coil?

Any recommendations on what to do?

Thanks in advance!

I was kinda wondering the same thing .. what I did a few days ago was use my syringe to get as much of the juice out as possible (there was less than 1/4 tank full) and dump it, and then I added my new juice. That pretty much worked .. there will be a little flavor carry-over but it's not too bad.

Thank ya much, just wanted to make sure that process would work!

I emptied the tank, took off the glass and washed it out the best I could, then dry burned the wick while tilting it down to get as much off as I could, worked like a champ, I now have a tank of heaven's nectar..and initial taste bud reaction was an orgy of angels in my mouth.

Appreciate the input!

You can also syringe the remaining liquid out. Put in a bottle for later or just dump it.
Then use syringe with hot water and fill the tank with hot water and remove the water a couple times. Do that again and you are good.
It's not hard to chip the tank so removing it as little as possible is probably the best choice.

If you remove the first o ring on the top of the atomizer, the one that hold the cap in place, you cant then slide the glass section off completely without having to destroy your coil. You can then have access to the inside of the tank making it easier to clean.

While yea, figured that out (I watch videos and read the manuals on things I own...weird I know xD ), I always appreciate hearing a reiteration of the info I found, just to verify it :D

Yea, I noticed that when I removed it, despite it being a stronger glass, it definitely has that "Trollolololol, I'mma gonna break because you looked at me funny!"

I'll give that technique a try next time, my only concern though is that on that first tank, I noticed the o rings leaked a bit, and I wanted to get those cleaned off, like right now, I'm staring at them, and I see a bit of eliquid wanting to escape from that bottom oring, really don't want to replace them just yet though. But yea, will definitely give that a try next time ^^

If it was the first time you had liquid in it then i agree that taking the tank off was a good ideal. Put a few drops of liquid on them(o-rings) when replacing them. Do these everytime you take the tank off. Helps in a lot of ways.
On a another thing that you did not ask but always comes up(if you don't know how yet)is learn how to make a wick. There is a lot of videos out there and my suggestion is to watch everyone you can. Everybody dose it different. Use the one that works for you or a combo of them.
The wick that come with it is not as good as it can be. Most(not all) would agree with me.

I do a total breakdown on the Z-Atty about once a week for a good cleaning. I re-coil my wick at the same time. I think you will find it hard to remove the glass with the ceramic wick installed without breaking it.

If I am switching flavors, I will syringe out the liquid I am "done" with and put it it a separate bottle (don't put it back in with your clean, new juice). Then I will fill the tank with hot water using the syringe and flush it out a few times. It's okay if you have a few drops of water left in the tank when you are done. I find this is a good time to increase my voltage up to around 5.5V and give the coil a good dry burn for a quick cleaning. Voltage back down, new juice into the tank with a drop or two on the wick up top and you're good to go.

Actually, the removal wasn't that hard at all, I didn't apply pressure to the center, but near the top, so I wasn't pressing in on the hollow part, and I gently turned it while lifting. Worked like a charm, came right off. Near the top I did take several extra (albeit possibly unnecessary) seconds to move even slower, just to make sure that I didn't hit the coil when it did finally come off. Came off without much (if any) fuss. I dry burned the coil at 3.3, then 3.5 volts after cleaning and reassembling, waiting a few moments between burns and holding it upside down, trying to force down as much liquid as possible. Seemed to work out rather well, as I didn't have any after taste from the green apple in my pear/coconut flavor, and have been enjoying it ever sense :D

As far as rebuilding my coil...eh...can't find any reason too, as long as it doesn't break on tear down for cleaning, and the flavor isn't changed or bad, the coil still works. Ain't broke, don't fix it seems like as good as any slogan to go with to me xD

Protip - If you wanna take your ZAP out with you, I've been wrapping the top cap with a strip of electrical tape haha now my Provari and Zap go everywhere. I mean I still have to keep it upright (and its slighty ugly) but the top cap stays on in the pocket!

Oh god...electrical tape? But...but...oh that would just look so utterly horrid, the nightmares I'll have with that image in my head xD

Seriously now. That actually does sound like a good idea, but the idea of having to deal with the residue from the tape, or just the looks, I'm quite content not taking it out with the zap on it, and just enjoying it at home ^-^

Haha it actually isn't that bad, I just cut a strip of tape in half so it covers the top o-ring. It doesn't look too bad and residue isn't really much of a problem but it keeps that top cap on there when I put it in my pocket and walk around campus. For me after I vaped my ZAP I just couldn't go back to anything else and just had to take it with me everywhere haha. I broke my glass tube and am waiting on a metal replacement hope it comes tomorrow i'm dying smoking these DCT's now
