A7 From Empire Mods?

I am going to do some modding on it tomorrow evening to see if I can tune it up and make it work for me.

Some may like but out of the box , ts not for me at this stage.

I will try to get photos of what I do and how I did it when I get there.

I find I get better flavor and vapor production from the modded Phoenix.

I am finding I like the side air flow. There is a difference difference in performance.

LOL there is non IMO

Challis and ERA out preform this A7 1000/1 IMO.

If you can get an ERA go for it. The only thing so fare that can compare to the Challis or ERA is the Modded Pheonix

Just my 2c nothing more.

Also I'd be curious to hear how a battle between

modded pheonix vs. A7 vs. chalice vs. ERA pans out on the Reo

well the only draw for the A7, for me, was the "all SS" description. Perhaps wishful thinking? Idea was even if things aren't right, I can make them really nice with modding, driling etc and not worry too much about kryptonite flakes in my mouth

otherwise I'm totally fine with spending for quality, watching FB like a hawk lol

Well there is one more difference, where the juice enters the atty and where the coil/wick set up is. In the stock mode the C/W set up hanging above the juice feed tube. It needs to be closer in order to push juice on to the coil and not just fall in to the built in internal CC.

So there is quite few factors to take in to consideration when modding a dripping RBA to a BF-RBA.

I will hit the shop tonight and see what I can come up with for a simple mod for these.

I'm completely new to RBAs, but did order two of these from the recent co-op.

Would it be possible to tuck a SS wick vertically into the feed tube and then drill a side hole for air flow? (Using a VV Grand, so thinking about BF options.)

c/w can be built the same way as in dripping mode. Since the airtube goes few mm above the base/well – where juice can be buffered, wick just need to be long enough to reach there.
With airhole too close to c/w, vapor would be too wet with little TH. Adjusting c/w location/position should be a breeze.

OK, thanks nz. I can see that my half-baked idea didn't account for the juice cup, which is rather important!

I'll get it working somehow, whenever it arrives.

body top is not stainless but has a thick chrome finish over it...

I've been waiting to pull the trigger on these, I liked the idea of the air hole being on the connector vs on the side (like the Phoenix). For those that have used them, can you confirm if the vape is similar to a standard 510 atty?

Cheapest Ive seen this atty is at myvaporstore.com and it comes with a super cool drip tip for $20. Just got it in the mail and will be trying it on my Reo Grand. Also have a bottom fed Fatty but its not very good with VG juice. Hopefully this one will take care of my Bobbas Bounty Fix.
