A beater is the last work I would to describe the rx200. and the last place I would want to use it is around work or anywhere it might make contact with the ground. I dropped mine from a very low height and it stopped working.
That, considering your experience in the other thread about your RX200, is damn gracious of you. Appreciated. :)

I am just saying i would rather take a RX200 to work with me rather than my dna version as it is cheaper to replace should it accidently get dropped or damaged

i am not slating it as i want one its just a lot cheaper to replace than my dna

Are you saying its gracious because I potentially exposed to my self to the epitome of a .... storm and A holes?
I'm saying it because you didn't appear to carry any of the angst generated you-know-where to this thread. I was genuinely trying to show appreciation. If you take some other way, not my intention.

slammed 3 LG HG batteries(New) into the Mod and attempted to charge. They ship less that 1/2 charge and take a few hours to top off. Not great for a first charge attempt.

Main problem
New Vaper, only 60 days and worse, in SG where vaping is illegal and No support is available.

Odds are, new to all this, All 3 batteries were placed in the same orientation and it was plugged in to charge, Killing at least one battery and possibly damaging the mod in the process.

Vaping is a learning experience and sometimes, Expensive.

I have been charging my mod for 2 weeks via the USB port with zero problem. I have 3, married, VCT4s in it. Have not updated to 1.08 could care less about the font. Mine has been spot on. Small variation in discharge between batteries. .1 or .2 volts.
Kind of curious if your mod also reads the correct coil resistance? A lot of them aren’t accurate, and Im thinking those are the ones that likely cant be trusted to evenly charge batteries either.

My rx200 is reading the exact resistance that my 521 coilmaster tab is reading.

.18 on the dot for both. And I still have not updated it :)

Mine is out for delivery. So when I get it today I will be USB charging it. I don't own an external charger and cannot afford one atm, so I'll let you know if I have a similar experience..

I have one on the way also. The difference is that I saw the cost of quality batteries and a quality charger as part of the deal. I bought Sony VTC4's and a 4 bay nitcore charger. Everywhere that I have read anything about the RX200 it invariably says that charging through the USB is a bad idea, also that the batteries should be charged together at the same rate, hence the 4 bay charger. I understand that it is also very important that the set of batteries be dedicated to the device, and not to use one or a pair of the three in another mod. I just look at it as an expense of the RX200 because for me, SAFETY is first. Just my thoughts.

Do your other mods use 18650s and do they use three of them? if the answer to both of those isn't yes then its not the same, as far as charging.

One uses a single 18650, the other uses two 18650s, and my RX uses three. And my RX200 on 1.07 is charging my batteries fine, and like I said before I currently cannot buy an external charger or I'd have one already, so my only option for the time being is to USB charge.

What I don't understand about your post is that you cant afford a $20 charger so your going to use the usb risking a bricked mod? spend money now, save more in the future.

I'm currently in the process of moving out of my sister-in-law's house, the lady friend and I just moved to Kentucky and we're in between jobs for the moment. I ordered the mod and batteries right before my last temporary job ended and no one was having issues with the USB charging since it was just released, and I assumed it would be fine.

I also seen reviews online saying it doesnt actually do balance charging/ etc...
ps, was lil busy

Well the ad I saw last month kind of lead me to believe it had internal charging.

RX200 regulates the power by its digital switch-mode DC-DC converter. It runs from a 3 cell lithium polymer battery and features cell by cell battery monitoring and integrated balance charger. It supports to temp control stainless steel coil, nickel coil and titanium coils with a 0.69 inch OLED screen display. Upgradable firmware are also available for further improvement.
