About to buy first eCig - Questions

Hello,

I'm about to dive into the world of electronic Cigarettes. I'm hoping to convince my mother to join me in the endeavor and order along with me. I will first ask some questions then basically list the order I have planned out and hopefully receive some comments and insight from you.

1) Do the cartridges really contain about 8-10 analog cigarettes worth of liquid? How many cartridges can we expect to go through if we're pack a day smokers. I'm under the impression this will be cheaper than analog cigarette smoking.

2) How many ml are in a cartridge, so as to compare to buying ejuice?

3) How many analog cigarettes are equivalent to say 10 ml of ejuice?

4) Will an electronic steam cleaner significantly extend the life of atomizers as to make it worth the price tag ( amazon -dot- com/ToolsNow-Electric-Steam-Cleaner/dp/B000OP3ABM/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1?ie=UTF8&s=home-garden&qid=1221538223&sr=8-1) when atomizers are replaced for $9.99?

5) Does this model of eCigarette include the dreaded self-cleaning feature?

6) How long will the supplies below last us, assuming two smokers, one pack a day?

The bulk of my order is from puresmoker.com, aside from the steam cleaner. Products are for myself and my mother, divided equally. She smokes Marlboro Light 100's, I smoke Marlboro Red 100's. We both smoke approximately one pack a day.

I realize some of these questions are not easily answered and I don't expect definitive answers. Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

Just beware...there is no juice that really tastes like burning tabacco....I recommend getting the rY4 too. It has a bit of a cig and carmel taste. but you look like you are going in a healthier direction.

Like Shawn stated. Classic carts hold approx 1ml of liquid. The average I would say is about 8-10 analog cigs.

1ml per Classic Cartridge

I would say close to 100 analog cigs.

Some people have had great success with steam cleaners.... There are about 200 different ways to clean an atomizer. Some swear by some, yet others don't. You have to find that perfect cleaning cycle yourself.

Approx: 1.5 - 2 weeks. It really depends on if you cut out analogues completely or if you still throw a few in each day.

Just a quick note on the steaming question. I too tossed around the idea of ordering one of these. This weekend I put a pot of water on the stove to boil, put a lid on it so that it was off to one side a bit and once the steam started pouring out of the opening i used a pair of tongs and held my atomizers in the steam for about 5 seconds in each end. I then let them cool, blew them out from the battery end and left them upside down to dry for a bit. This didn't by any means make them "like new" but it definitely increased their performance. I would put it at about 90% of where they were when I first got them. I have been using all 3 of those atomizers for a little over 4 weeks now and they seem to still be going strong after the little cleaning this weekend. Oh yeah...and I saved about 30 bux in the process!

I suggest a couple of extra batteries 1 for each of you, in case 1 fails and you have to return it. You don't want to have just 1 battery a day with 901.
