About to give up

I seriously feel like throwing in the towel right now. I can't seem to figure out what it is I need (that I can afford) Here lately nothing seems right.. the taste is weird or non existent with my vivi nova tanks and with my clearos badly burnt tasting. I've had a headache for a week now.. not sure what thats about. I went to buy a new tank today, decided on iclear30, ordered 2 of them, then read they don't work with the regular kgo batteries I have. I'm grumpy, broke and just ready to give up. I would love to be able to get good batteries, but can't afford it right now so I'm gonna have to make due with what I got. What can I get for these lame kgo batteries so that I have good flavor and for the LOVE OF BOB no BURNT taste??

I have been in your shoes more than once! When I can't seem to get anything working, a cheap and nearly foolproof mainstay is the cartomizer. Buy a 5 pack of Boge LR cartos, fill patiently and then top off as needed. Good luck, and don't give up!

What clearos are you using? I like bottom feeding clearos like the Kanger T3's and eVods when I use them and haven't ever had a burnt taste with them other than when they gunk up after a week or two. If your using dark juices they will all gunk up faster.

Are any of these stores near you? Taking what you have with you and visiting an actual store to talk with them would be optimal for you right about now.
Also, see if anyone in the Georgia group is close to you and willing to meet up to help you figure out the set up that may be just your style.

I've been using the cheap clearos that came with my batteries, I do have one stardust and it doesn't taste burnt but it gurgles badly no matter what I do I did look at the kanger t3's but unfortunately bought the other thing that wont work.
How do you fix gunk?

I kept burning the vivi nova too. All top wick tank attys really... My best experience is with tank / carto setup from Vale dudes and valley view vapes. $9 for a 3-6ml tank and another $9 for a 5pack of per punched / laser drilled cartos. (each company sends 1 carto with each tank purchased.

Properly priming a carto makes a big difference too. I love the condom method as it really soaks the filler and makes for a great vape.

Don't give up! Delivery systems are so important but ya gotta find what works for you.

I have been to the local store, that's where I got the vivi novas. They are on the pricey side and I'm seriously low on funds right now.

One way to keep a juice from becoming tasteless is to rotate juices. I don't really know why, but for some of us using the same juice all the time renders it tasteless. Your kgo should have 510 and ego cone threading, just about any mainstream delivery system should fit. I know they don't recommend using dual coil and low resistance devices on egos, but the truth is they will fit, they will also drain your battery faster. Spinners and Twist have a dial at the bottom, this allows you to play with the voltage until you find your sweet spot for whatever combination you are using.

If it gurgles it's flooding. I bought some cheap no name clearos whe out of town one time that tasted burnt from the first drag. When using top wick atty's like the vivi novas you need to tilt the tank up and take 4-5 primer puffs without pushing the button. Also keep the tank tilted when vaping. When they get low turn them sideways an swirl the juice to keep the wicks wet.

I find it gurgles also if the battery is not charged up good, make sure your batteries are charged good too.

Are these carto tanks the same as Vape Dudes texas tuff tanks? They were going to send me one "on the house" but I hasn't made it here yet.

All good advice has been given here.The only thing that I can add to this is if you are in a place that you cant fiddle with the Vivi,just carry some juice in a small bottle and drip it.A drop or two will give you about 5-6 good solid hits in a pinch

Just get a couple stardust clearomizers for the egos i love them and they're cheap. I've had perfect functionality and flavor vape all that. also i find pg is good if you want that kick in the throat, which i don't i get vg heavy juice. it feels less like smoking but more enjoyable to me. I get headaches too since i quit. Your bodys gonna do weird things to adjust....and irritability is the hallmark nicotine withdrawal symptom.

I rotate between, vanilla, cotton candy, swedish fish and buttery nipple.. maybe I rotate too much?
