YES!! I am so siked about getting started. I was looking at nudenicotine diy mixing kits. I have not made up my mind if i should go with the $30 or the $50 kit.. has anyone used them before?Pro and cons if you have any

Thanks

I'm not a big fan of kits because althou you get a lot of what you need you also get a lot of what you don't need. And what you do get are usually low quality.

Read my blog on what you should get and read my blogs before getting started it will help you in your DYI adventure.

Read my blogs before getting started

E-Cigarette Forum - dannyv45 - Blogs

then read hoosier's blogs.

then read the stickies at the top of the page.

this will explain a lot of the how's and why's.

I have 10ml and 25ml cylinders as well as 50ml, 100ml and 250ml beakers.

I normally do 60ml batches at a time, with 7 different ingredients. I tend to use both my cylinders and my 250 beaker. For me, the cylinders work great for measuring and I use the beaker for mixing it all together as well as the first 24hrs of steeping. I am planning on getting a glass 5ml cylinder as well. On very dark tinted flavours (like Graham Cracker) I can not read the markings on a syringe.

Don't buy cheap lab glass to measure get a shot glass on Amazon.

Why you might ask..

The markings in most affordable lab glass Class B are not that accurate. They charge more for the well calibrated Class A which can run into hundreds of dollars per beaker. Where as a cheap shot glass is as good, maybe a buck or two higher in cost and much more accurate. I discovered this out after buying a bunch of glass which I now only use to measure ratios. I use a shot glass when I need to measure more then a syringe would be able to handle. Which is then dumped from the shot glass in a not so accurate mixing glass.

I have been getting by for 3 months with nothing but 3 flavorings, a 3 ml syringe, nic base, VG, and reused e-juice bottles from pre-made juice. Total budget, about $50, including 120 ml of 100 mg nic base and 250 ml of VG. I just splurged on some 10 ml and 1 ml syringes though, because that does make life easier and provides more accuracy for measuring flavorings.
