Accelerated steeping
[h=1]I watch 2 different videos from UK, where you accelerate steeping by using a frother or dermal to mix your juice up with. It turns cloudy and let it stand 12 hours with the cap off. It will be clear again after 12 hours. After that it should be good to go. [/h][h=1]I was wondering if anyone tried this method and if it works. [/h]

Taste is personal. We all have different levels of taste ability. What one person likes tastes like s... to someone else.

There are many stories of the wonders of steeping and these are only rumors.

Not all flavors require steeping.

put it in a dark place for one month.

use a sonic cleaner to steep it in 30 minutes.

use some sort of vibrating machine, a dremel, or drill, with an off center weight, or anything else that vibrates.

buy unpopular juice because it has already sat on the shelf the longest.

The best advice I can give is give it a try and see if YOU think it makes enough of a difference to be worth the trouble. This goes for pretty much any taste question you have from steeping to wicking material to RDAs to anything. If you think it is enough better to make it worth wile go ahead.

I DIY a lot of my own juice. I had an Aerolatte frother in the kitchen drawer that I never used so, I cut the end of it off so there's just an "L" shaped end left on it. It will froth up a bottle of juice in about 2 minutes. I let them sit uncapped overnight and then put them away capped for a week or so and then try them out. I don't know if the frothing helps or not, but it sure is fun!! Most do get better with age tho. If you're buying premium juice, it should be pre-steeped and ready to vape.

Is there a general rule of thumb about which ones will benefit from some time in a cabinet and which ones won't, or is it a total crapshoot?

Not sure of any rules about steeping. In my experience so far is I haven't had any real difference in taste whether I vape a juice straight out of the mail or if I let them sit for awhile. Again this is my :2c:. Like I said before taste is suggestive good for some and bad for others. I like to change my vape just about every tank full so some of my juices sit for awhile and I don't feel like they get any better. But again that's just me. Could be different for others. So I say what ever keeps you from smoking is the right rule! :D
